:meditate: :meditate:   :burger: Marshall for S/t Hendo makes sense Ramon and Kemba and JT and Gordon all can play 2 guard. Who knows if Marshall shows promise, we may want to trade Sesssions or Gordon later. Marshall is 21 and has only played 14 mpg 3 ppg 3 apg. 6"4". Let him work with Price. This way we get something for Hendo. As for PEWJR..The jury is still out whether he will stick.

sign and trade Gerald to the Suns

I would want Beasley included. I know, it sound crazy but aye.

I would do that trade. Henderson for Marshall and Mike Beasley.. Beasley is good, who cares if he's a headcase, or whatever people wanna call him. I would do this trade just to have Beasley.

Kemba, Sessions, Marshall
Taylor, Gordon
MKG, Beasley
Zeller, McRob, Adrien?
Jefferson, Biyombo, Haywood

Who cares if he is a head case? You are aware that head cases can ruin a team's chemistry right.

I think he would fit.

There is no reason to take the chance when next year's draft probably features more threes than anything.

We should probably stay away from the tire fire of a roster that is the Phoenix Suns.

We need a combo forward. We should trade for Royce White 8-)

Royce would be really nice in small ball lineups with Zeller actually. I think the 76ers are gonna try and use him since new GM Hinkie probably drafted him when he was with the Rockets. We'll see I guess.

Off topic from our franchise's direction but that fool Royce White is never going to play half a season in the NBA if ever one game.

If I was Philly, I'd say **** it, let him play home games only, so he doesn't have to fly, he can take different measures of transport for the away games in the BosWash megalopolis, if he wants to. We're tanking anyway, so let's find out if there's anything to that potential of his.

They'd kind of be stupid not to unless he's really that much of a distraction and they just let him stay home.

...but I don't think he's good enough to be granted such exceptions. He better be a +15 ppg player with a +20 PER for me if I was a GM paying him millions of dollars to only play home games.

But he's only receiving 1.7 mil and the team is tanking next year. Moreover, Philly holds a team option to his contract next summer. Let him go, if you feel like it.

Step one complete!

Next stage rebranding.

I know that some people are a bit annoyed it will take a year but I'm going to enjoy a final year with the Bobcats brand and hopefully the gap year will clear some of the confusion in terms of NO and CLT.

now if only the Bobcats...i mean HORNETS get the #1 pick we can start the 1st Hornet season off with a boom....maybe Adam Silver (he will be the commissioner by then right?) wants the same thing and rigs the draft just a tiny bit for Charlotte lol

Also the original uniforms (at least the colors) and Hugo are the same, maybe change the court a bit

The prototype with the honeycomb/beehive design on it was dirty. I could definitely go for that as being our home floor. I just want to get rid of the ghastly orange in our team colors. I mean really, orange? I would rather see us put in gold with the teal.
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

Some developments that excite me of late:

1. Jeffery Taylor's summer league play. Alongside the obvious exciting reasons for loving his play, I hope he is finally the catalyst who makes CHA mgmt value 2nd rd picks more greatly. This has driven me crazy for years. A cheap non-guaranteed way to check out some talent, our team has always seemed to treat the picks like they're not worth the bother. I hope with JT's play, and with the new CBA placing a premium on value players, that CHA takes owning 2nd rd picks more covetously.

2.Cody Zeller. Man, what a breath of fresh air to have someone with what appears to be that amount of talent.

3.MKG going to USAB camp. Despite all the hand-wringing about his shooting stroke, this tells me a lot about this young player. The coaches know who the best players are. Coach K knows the value of a player who can impact every aspect of the game without shooting. These guys know what they've got in MKG - still one of the youngest players in the league. I KNOW his shot is a problem. I just wish everyone would shut up about it and focus on MKG's other extraordinary abilities - like the greatest basketball minds in our country apparently have.

I wanted to ask this general question, but I wasn't really sure which thread to post it in, so I just chose this one.

What are our realistic expectations for this upcoming season? Does Taylor/MKG win NBA's Most Improved, Zeller for ROY, BRD for COY, do we make the playoffs, how many wins do you expect?

I personally have no idea who is going to win the individual awards, and obviously it would be hard to predict something like that. I think we could sneak into the playoffs (this doesn't mean we're on a treadmill) with around 40-odd wins if everything coalesces well. I would put the lowball estimate on our win total at 35 wins, and that would have to mean someone got hurt.
