You have six NBA players and then you have a bunch of guys fighting for spots who want to be seen and need opportunity. For me, I go straight away just to the type of people, are they going to be reliable? Are they going to compete? Are they going to be day to day, do they have personality, can they be coached, do they want to be coached? All those things matter. So you try to select your team in a year that is going to be extraordinarily difficult around the types of people who can take hits and can withstand it, and stay positive and keep the locker room together. That's how I see it and that's how it has to be done.

You are undersized, not a good traveler...you probably shouldn't get ejected from a preseason game and be waived by a team that has 3 injured for a while frontcourt players.

Seth Curry won't be the SG that the Bobcats are looking for, but if he develops his game to be a productive pro he could end up in a Jason Terry/Eddie House role as a solid scoring combo guard off the bench

with that pick, the Suns now have FOUR possible 2014 1st round picks, and i thought Charlotte was killing it with 1st round draft picks

Arizona rising in 2014. I think for sure they get that pick. The Wiz on the other hand, really going for it and still young.

Is this a playoff team?

Wall - Maynor/Marshall
Beal - Brown/Rice
Porter - Ariza/Webster
Nene - Booker/Harrington
Gortat - Singleton/Seraphin

They could contest for a spot with DET and this trade could really benefit the Bobcats if Detroit misses the playoffs and the DET pick becomes top-1 protected in 2015.

The problem is that Curry and 7' Dewayne Dedmon, who GS also "cut", have already agreed to play for their Santa Cruz NBDL team.

Both players, according to The Oakland Tribune, have agreed to play for the Warriors' D-League team, the Santa Cruz Warriors, should they not make the NBA roster. The player who doesn't get released will spend a good portion of the season in Santa Cruz, too.

This highlights something of a deficiency for the Cats as one of the teams that does not have a single affiliate DLeague team to stash players of interest.
