I'm particularly impressed how you managed to identify and condense the smartest thinkers into one sentence. Don't force me to go all candy cane bubble gum world on you. I'll break out my Kemba poster collection and kitten bedding.

Yeah, we're the legion of glass half empty.

Dave I recently noticed the funniest part about your profile ensemble which is the ref in the middle of the picture superimposed over Wade. It's like my brain glazed over it a thousand times seeing it as normal and expected, nothing unusual. My brain expected to see the ref there chumming around with the Heat. Then I got the joke. That's not acceptable at all!

I'm glad you feel you belong in the group of "smartest thinkers." Us dumb thinkers should probably pitch in to buy you one of these:

That nearly has as many moving parts as MKG's jump shot.

ichiro made the hidden troll list for his irrational hate of MKG, which is odd, because he is seemingly rational about all other players on the team. its all good though...

sorta OT but related to BDs hilarious icons and sig. has anyone see a poster who has the holy trinity of bandwagon icons - lakers, yankees, cowboys? i had a buddy growing up who was die hard for those teams. he was the biggest bandwagon guy i've ever known. if someone sees this combination, please provide a link to them in the OT thread.

I post on a UConn fan board and pretty much everyone there thinks MKG is not an NBA starter and that the Hornets need to upgrade both SG and SF. I also have a friend who's a Knicks fan who does not like MKG at all whenever I propose trades. I'd say this board is an oasis of MKG manlove. I'm here to pass out the condoms.

those are UConn fans (who im guessing aren't CHA fans) and a Knick fan, they go along with the "bust" label that has been put on him by the media

They know plenty about basketball. The thing is, Hornets fans let hope influence analysis. The fan base has a vested interest in him not busting, so plenty of hoping is going on here. Like I told them you guys want to move Melo to PF so MKG stays at SF. It's **** like that that lets me know I'm not being irrational or hateful.

Didn't Melo win the scoring title just last season playing almost exclusively at power forward?

MI I'm getting a kick out of your self congratulatory approach. You surely are a luminary sent to rescue us dim witted folks.

RE: MKG

He's 20 years old and already an elite defender. He shouldn't be traded as filler.

Can I get this as a title? :D

This also reminded me to finish up a cap spreadsheet I was working on.

BrotherDave wrote:Poster of the year: BlackOutBobcat

He doesn't post with as much frequency of a lot of us but his quality to crappy post ratio is so efficient that he'd make tsherkin blush.

How did I miss this (right after one of my own posts even)? Cheers Dave, I'm probably a step above lurker so the recognition is both unexpected and appreciated. And yeah, I consciously avoid tsherkining threads up.

I'll need to consider my own nominations, though I'm leaning toward giving Bobcat Poster of the Year to a Sixers fan...

I think we need to use advanced statistics to determine these awards. Like and1/post ratio perhaps. I know its a small sample size and I haven't been properly scouted yet but as of this post mine is at .63, which seems pretty good :-)

Dayum son, that is some terrific volume posting. You are like the Kobe Bryant of these boards.
