That's easy money

35.5 is very fair. Realistic arguments can be made in favor of both the over and the under, so money should be coming in relatively evenly from both sides. It's a good line.

I have a chronic pessimism about our team that would never let me bet the over.

35.5? With a team of misfits and a terribly consistent dosage of injuries all year long, we managed 33. Last year was an absolute worst case scenario with that roster. It would take A LOT of injuries to drop us below that line.
I'd actually bet on those odds, but given my past luck betting, we would probably start the season 30-15, then lose Kemba, MKG, and Batum to season-ending injuries in quick succession and go 5-32 the rest of the way.

I don't think it's fair to say we won X amount of games last year in spite of injuries so this year we're practically guaranteed to win more because of roster improvements. Several teams in our conference improved just as much or arguably more. Indy will also be a factor again now that Paul George is healthy. There is no guarantee we top last year's win total by much, even with decent health. A bunch of other teams who were right around the same record as us last year are expecting improvement too, in some cases with good reason.

45 is my prediction
40 is lowest I see happening barring lots of injuries like last year. 48 is probably the ceiling though.
They are going to be good but not great.
