Got waxed in the NFL today thanks to not owning any Giants or Saints. I switched out Ben Watson last night for Ladarius Green because Gates was possessively not going to play. **** day.

Dad is going to win ~$500 because he had Drew Brees (51 points on draft kings, the highest I've seen). He was in 1st in a 1.3K people tournament for a while but dropped to 3rd. Not many people behind him can catch up.

So mad at myself I switched out Watson. Would have won around 200 if I didn't do that. Sorry for the Forsett prediction..to be fair, no RB's did well this week.

probably need to find some free leagues first though so i can find out what im doing. i am pretty much a fantasy sports noobie.

Well they have free stuff you can do on draftkings and fanduel to get used to it before you blow your money. Might be what hes referring to.

Here's my NFL plays for this weekend, somehow managed to get back to even and win $120 last week thanks to the sunday and monday night games being terrible for fantasy.

My strategy for draftkings NFL is enter a few tournaments, and a LOT of head to heads (ten $1 dollar, five $2 dollar, and multiple $5 and $10 dollar) and each lineup in a $25 dollar 50/50 (which means you double your money if you finish in the top 47% of players).

Notes:

Tampa Bay has been absolutely terrible against #1 options this season, Julio had a huge game last week, and this week its Odell's turn to play them.

Devonta Freeman has too high a floor not to play him, with how risky the RB position is. I think they run a lot considering they are playing Gabbert and the 49ers will have ZERO offense. This feels like a 28-3 Falcons game with Freeman getting 30 carries.

Allen being out for the year means Stevie Johnson gets his targets. That MNF game will be high scoring, so I like both passing games.

I think everyone will try to hop on Brees bandwagon because of last week but the Saints will run the ball more in this matchup. Ben Watson is still a really great value at TE.

Still getting waxed in the NBA. Gonna use fats lineup and hope he pulls me through.

I've found football free rolls here and there with modest payouts. Thus far I've won $27 without putting anything in, though I haven't gotten the nerve to actually put it into any paid leagues.

Had never done a basketball one though, tried and failed last night. My "studs and duds" strategy from football went terribly. I had LeBron, Westbrook, and Curry and still ended in the 600s.

Basically i used a slightly altered fats lineup on DK since I couldn't make it home in time to do my own lineup, and it's kicking ass. You guys should bet a couple bucks a night on 50/50. Its easy money. Just finish in the top half and you double your money. I typically make about 50$ a week off fantasy basketball. Nothing major, but it adds up.

I used fats lineup but instead of Bosh, Batum and Towns I went Durant, Whiteside and Zeller. I just don't see how Chicago guards Durant
