He's so freaking good. The hate won't last long so it doesn't bother me.

I like the pick.

Wonder what we'll do with all the 2nd's.

He also reportedly shed a fair bit of weight between the end of MSU's season and now to get faster because he knows that he's going to be playing on the perimeter a lot more in the NBA. I really like that, it shows he's serious and ready to work to make himself better.

I just feel his build just does not look like one of a modern NBA player. 6'6 powerfoward won't bode well in today unless you are as smart as Draymond Green. Unless he develops his 3 and ball handling, he is gonna end up being Big Baby Davis. Now I know Davis was a decent player in his day, but the NBA has change so much since then. Imagine that big boi getting switched on by guards all day, its just wouldnt work.

He is probably a better Tobias Harris.

I really wanted SGA so didn't enjoy that surprise. I've been a bit of a roller coaster on Miles, don't hate don't love. Last year would have been thrilled with him. Hope he works out. I like picking up the seconds if Miles was the guy all along.

I love this, Larry looks like he's in decent shape. I hope he's doing well.

It's hard to believe that of all the times this team has been in the lottery it's only won once. The Larry and Zo team didn't last nearly long enough...

Glad he shed some weight, as I think he has to become more of a 3 who can switch off as needed. Will need to work on his shot from longer range. We shall see.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

There is nothing wrong with his three point shot now.

I can't be mad at this pick at all. I wasn't a huge SGA fan, but saw how he 'could' potentially fit. We aren't trading Kemba, so getting SGA with the 11th pick seems a bit overkill with Monk and Kemba running the backcourt.

I don't think MKG is in our future plans as a starter (if at all) and Marv won't be around much longer, so Miles makes a lot of sense.

He is incredibally athletic, and can play both forward spots, with different advantages. I kinda wanted Porter, but there's a reason why a previous #1 overall candidate slid. Kemba-Monk-Miles is a promising future, and I think the way we finagled two 2nd rounders out of it, allows us to have some assets to move around for other building blocks.

The #11 overall was never going to be a franchise-changing pick.

I didn't say anything was wrong with his shooting, but he isn't good enough to warrant him playing a position which he is undersized in.

The SGA trade scared me. I got a bit upset cause I liked him and his fit and I really didn’t want Porter. So happy it was Miles since I was a toss up between SGA and Miles for me. Ringer guys all have Miles pretty high on their big boards. One has him around 4 or 5 btw.

He is basically the same size as MKG.

Shot better from three than Collin JR Smith Sexton.
