Ball getting too relaxed, a couple of sloppy passes there

The rebounding is solid, everything else feels like a lucky dip. It’s fun when it goes well

Kalkbrenner has high positional awareness. Easy to see why he's starting. Maybe he can find some agility somewhere  The strength will come. Great pick

I feel like we left 30 points on the board, could have easily had 160 tonight

Nets will be in contention for worst record, but still a feel good win. 33 assists, the young guys are buying in and you can at least see the vision.

Kalk and Diabate are going to get owned by elite front lines but I like their effort and complementary skill sets, it will be fun to watch them grow.

Brandon Miller made it look easy, if he can be a true number one scoring option and Melo can focus more on facilitating like he did tonight that will do wonders for this team.

Sexton got a little too selfish at times but it was hard to blame him considering how he was abusing the Nets defense. He's going to swing some games off the bench and you can already see his supreme confidence.

Kalk times his blocks nicely and doesn't look like he will foul too much.

They were a delight to watch tonight.

They are still going to lose more then they win against the top teams but it's nice to see them playing entertaining basketball again. They do appear to have a vision and the plan is to get better, so far so good. Woop woop

Fun game, watched after getting back from a meeting. Great to win the opener even against a slug like the Nets. Lots of positives and good performances. So I’ll list a few….

Concerns: Why did coach play starters into the final minute?
Tre Mann is a lazy defender.
Melo is trying on D but he still gets killed on screens and loses track of his man.
Liam didn’t get any minutes while Sion did. Deserving, or a message?
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I see a lot of non Hornets fans saying we are a league pass team to watch.

I think we will shock a lot of people especially if both LaMelo and Miller stay on the court at the same time. The East is down with a lot of key injuries. It's no reason why we can't be competitive in the East this year.

Perfect season opener. Sure it is just the Nets, but that's the exact type of performance you want to see vs a bad team.

Miller and his 7 assist definitely stood out. Handles looked a little tighter and be showed a lot of confidence in his straight drives.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

I think we have a good chance to be decent or at least decently watchable
