edt: also, I know we have to declare a category when we select a guy, but if they fill multiple cats can you swap them around during a later pick? ie, could Doc move Dirk to 08/09 All-Star game or 7 footer later? I think it would keep the draft moving along at a faster pace.

examples pls (I actually counted with whoever google found witgh word "suspended" as to be sure I can pick these or those players for this or that catagory later - simply to let my options open)

I understood it liek you can't move players later. I would be much quicker if I can just pick him as versatile multiple positoned player and move on.

Yea, reading through again, I think you're stuck with your guy once you place him in a category.

"Paging Paydro, Paydro to the scorers table".

I might not be able to log on tonight, so just in case, I have given who I will be selecting at #4 to Fats to post if need be.

Coach can be ANYONE, or anyone that's played/coached in the NBA?

upon walt and docs request. u can move a player to a diff category after selecting them. however you must specify at least one cat when u pick them. if you move a player to a diff cat, let me know cause i will have to update the main page. please dont make too many changes cause i dont want to have to keep shuffling dudes around. :)

I didn't mean to make it a request, I think it should be fun either way. I think there's more suspense when someone can swap a guy around, but it's whatever to me. Just want to know for my draft strategy.

I've printed out 200 NBA players names, will be putting them into a hat and drawing them out one by one.

Now that's what I call a strategy.

25% done "acquiring" NBA 2k9....so be thinking about names, logos, and colors. I heard the PC visuals are breathtaking with a good graphics card....so I think these will look sweet. I did something similar 4 or so years ago with the NFL.

One caucasian parent + US birth= cat 10? I'm planning something tricky. Completely making up an example with an unavailable player, let's say Tim Duncan's mother was white. Would he qualify? Would it matter that he's from the US Virgin Islands? What if he was born in Puerto Rico (US territory)?

Sorry to be so technical, just don't want to get stuck later on.

I select Pau Gasol, slot him into European-born player.

haha... I was really hoping to get a top pick and be able to nab Dirk or Pau. Both are probably the best players left available, plus they fit Euro.
