Haha. True that BigSlam.

Still would like to know what the OKC trade would had involved......

I guess now it's time to buy-out Diaw and watch him go ballistic for some playoff team. Then watch DJ leave for nothing in free agency.

Not too impressed with Cho today. Had 2 assets that were pursued by multiple teams and couldnt even get us a small return

I'm glad we didn't make any moves, in my eyes just let Corey expire, leave DJ alone and keep our core and make moves accordingly in the off season.

We've still got the draft to wheel and deal some. I'm assuming that teams were trying to unload garbage on us. If Cho kept us from being a doormat I'm happy.

We could be the Nets right now,

Maggs doesn't expire this season, though.

I thought he did? Or was I thinking of amnesty?

Cho can't make other teams offer us what we want! Seems to me like all teams were willing to give up were crap contracts....why take on that? Other teams trying to unload expiring deals didn't get anything done either. And the one team that traded a PG in a similar position to DJ (Cavs) got an absolutely horrible deal in return....

Glad cho didn't make a deal just to make a deal, that has been our problem over the years. ONly accept what you want and there was nothing that we "wanted".

That's the thing - outside of the obvious (Durant, Harden and Westbrook in that order) there isn't much I would want from them. Their first round pick is going to be close to #30, we don't need Ibaka with Biz and the rest of the roster is sort of "blah".

This rebuild is a 2-3 year project anyway. Maggette, Diop, Carroll, Mullens, and Brown all come off the books after next year, Diaw is an expiring this year, and we still have an amnesty to use if we so choose on Tyrus.

All of our future expirings are going to come in very handy next year for the mad FA dash, we'll probably harvest a lot of good draft picks out of them.

Our biggest concerns are: Match DJA's offer, whatever that will be, re-sign Gerald after next year.

I'm very impressed. We stuck to our guns and didn't do anything to put our long term plan at risk by making a stupid trade.

I still think Houston's #1 would have overshadowed the extra year of Petro and Farmar. I'm disappointed that didn't go through.

I wish we'd traded DJA/Diaw for something of value but making no trades is better than making bad trades.

after today i think the chances of DJ signing a long-term deal with charlotte went from 10% to 0.01%

this is like the 3rd trade deadline in a row where it seems he has been traded only to not be traded.

actually jealous of Phi underrated move, would have liked to have grabbed Sam Young from Griz for absolutely nothing, Phi got him for rights to someone named Ricky Sanchez (?). Young exponentially better than Higgins.
