As far as HBO, Cinemax etc, there's a special TWC is offering for $5 month and it gives you all the Cinemax, Movie Channel and Showtime channels they have.

Say what? $5 a month? I've actually been looking recently at getting either HBO or Showtime but I didn't see the $5 deal. Isn't it like $11.95 a month for just one pay channel?

^It's a summer offer they have on-going, Cinemax/Showtime/TMC for $5/month for 12-months.

Happy B-day Walt. I wish I was just turning 24 again. :)

Fats, how much do they charge you for two DVR boxes and the DVR service? I know when I inquired about that when I was with Time Warner they wanted to charge me for the DVR service twice along with both boxes. At the time I was paying $10 for DVR and $8 for the box so for 2 DVR's I was looking at $36 tacked on to the bill.

Oh and Lafayette was awesome last night. He whooped that guys ass.

The games are on

FSN South channel 40
SportSouth channel 60
FSN Carolinas channel 263 in HD

When the games are on SportSouth, they're also televised in HD which is channel 263. Hopefully most of the games this season will be on SportSouth because the HD channel is sooo much better.

Edit: Actually FSN Carolinas is 263 because the Braves are on channel 40 and 263. This must be new because in the past whenever the Braves were on ch 40, they wouldn't be in HD on 263. Hmmm. Good news so I guess all the Bobcats games will be in HD.

Thanks for telling me about this. Apparently Cinemax isn't part of the promotion anymore, only TMC/Showtime. So I ordered that and got the $5 promotion for 24 months. When HBO comes up with a deal, I'll dump TMC/ST

Hey Guys,

is this week's Panthers/Dolphins Pre-Season game going to be televised? According to the Panthers' site it says yes, but on Panthers TV.

What is PanthersTV?

PanthersTV is Fox. The games will be shown on local Fox affiliate. Channel 11 and 240 in HD.

How come for some threads the new post icon comes up even though I've viewed the thread?

GW3, how much is 2800 euros in dollars?

I fixed that problem by deleting the cookies from this board, then logging back in. I think it shows everything as unread, but it at least resets that problem you are talking about.

is the NFL Network avail on TWC?

I thought it was only on DirecTV, but this past weekend when I was back in Miami my brother was watching it on ComCast (Cable).

Nope, as far as I know, the only 2 cable companies that carry the NFL Network are Comcast and Kabul cable in Afghanistan.

Hopefully we get the NFL Network soon because this is the first season everyone I know ditched DirecTV and switched back to cable. So no NFL Network and Sunday Ticket. :( And I'm not a big fan of going to bars to watch football. Rather watch at home or at someone's house comfortably sitting on the couch with beer in hand.
