guys, even though this is the bobcats board, i would like to see all the posters have a little more class when it comes to dealing with stuff said on other boards. if fans from another board post a ridiculous trade involving us or talk junk about us, let it go. no need to stoop down to their level by coming here and calling them out.

For real, that impostor me probably posted the stupidest trade I've seen. (Not to say I'm opposed to the deal from our end of course... ) I cleared it up with some of the guys on the Pistons board and Trades board, where that guy posted stupid **** as me. It's all good between us now though.

Also, DO NOT WANT RUDY GAY.

agreed on our end as well

no need to let a few vocal fans with bad/lopsided trade ideas or a GB beef over last year's draft give a bad name to all the posters on either of our boards.

Hey Cha fans, I just wanted to apologize for that cloning thing. Just letting you know that that was my roommate that did that. He knows the site too (I showed it too him) and he reads but never signed up. I left my laptop in the room when I went to dinner and I guess he decided to do this haha. Sorry guys. I won't leave my laptop within his reach again.

haha no worries dude. I leave my facebook open a little too often when my sister's in the house, so I've had much worse.

I've got to say that's a dedicated trolling effort though. Setting up an account, cloning it right down to the interests page. I wouldn't even had the patience... It's a little funnier in hindsight.

Good to see you're not upset about it! I'm a little annoyed that I have two warnings now lol but it doesn't matter. I was trying to keep a clean record - guess it's still "clean" considering I myself didn't do that cloning thing.

See you around the forums dude.

I'd trade for Rudy Gay, then draft Nerlens Noel, then amnesty Tyrus Thomas, then sign Paul Milsap in free-agency, and watch us go to the playoffs as at least a 4th seed in the East.

PG- Walker
SG- Gay
SF- Kidd-Gilchrist
PF- Milsap
C- Noel

And be stuck as the new Atlanta Hawks forever, cash strapped.

Pretty sure Gay's contract keeps us from signing Millsap anyway.

Well, unless we're planning on drafting Andrew Wiggins in 2014 we'll be lucky to be the new Atlanta Hawks aka 4th seed when our rebuild is complete because the Heat will still have LeBron and the Knicks will still have Melo.

If we rescind Hendo's qualifying offer and amnesty Tyrus, we'll have more than enough to sign Paul Milsap or Al Jefferson. Gay's contract expires the same year we'd have to give Kemba and Biyombo an extension. By 2015-16 we'll be perennial contenders in the East and still riding a young nucleus of Kemba, MKG, and Noel.

CHA-ATL trade? Not much, but I'm interested what your opinions are...

CHA out Henderson
CHA in Morrow (4mill/1y) + 2013. 1st rounder ATL

Why?

Truth to be told, I'm a fan of Hendo and don't want to trade him, but trying to see the things in Cho's (or simply the management's) point of view he isn't that kind of cornerstone we can't move. Now his value is quite okay IMO but noone would give us a good 1st rounder for him, unless we absorb some bad contracts in the process. With this trade, we would get a mid-late first rounder, which means a new asset for cheap price (with luck) and a hometown boy, who is washed-up right now, but few years back had some good games. Morrow maybe could stay with the team in the future for close-to-the-minimum salary (perhaps instead of Reggie Williams).

ATL in Henderson
ATL out Morrow+1st rounder

Why?

Atlanta will be a hot spot next year. Many contracts will run out, will have plenty of cap space, but right now they need to be in the race for at least a 2nd round PO run. Without it they won't be as a wanted place for FA's as it could be. Henderson would be a big upgrade there. They could line him up with Korver or just split minutes in SG and SF. Morrow is useless for them, and if they want to get anything out of this season (not to mention their last game effort...) they need some help. The 1st rounder isn't much help unless they decide to start losing seriously. They can resign Henderson relatively cheap IMO, and could be a valuable guy next seasons. They should decline DeShawn Stevenson's TO with the speed of light of course... :)

I'd do it. Accumulating draft picks is our top priority and I think this is the realistic value of Hendo.

Wow! You don't value Hendo very much at all then. A seldom used three point shooter who is a defensive liability and a mid first round pick in a weak draft? If his value is that weak we should just match whatever pitiful offer he gets as a rfa.

I value him. Only thing is, there isn't any sign the league value him at all. I thought a lot about it and cannot come up with a realistic idea in which Hendo is traded for real value given that he must be resigned by the other team if they want to keep him. Two type of teams could be interested: 1. above the cap so in summer couldn't give him much, 2. "right now" teams, with a will to resign (that is ATL imo).

It would be better, I agree. With 2013 being a weak draft (as per scouts) and 2014 being a deeper a 20. pick could worth less than a 22-23. pick a year later (assuming Atlanta will get some good FAs this summer)...
