BK-Ref doesn't count up the exact number of possessions (unlike nba.com), they simply use some algorithm so their offensive and defensive ratings are a bit off. NBA.com is telling us that we need more Ben Gordon on the offensive (and defensive) end though, which I wouldn't totally disagree with, but I'm sure the majority of the board would
Attribute that to the small sample size.
He's played 46 minutes for the whole season so far:
8 minutes of the 3rd quarter against the Pelicans, the only quarter in which they didn't light us up (21 points);
17 minutes in a blow-out against the Bucks, the time they barely scored 70. That game helped each guy's def rtg;
only 6 minutes against the Heat;
13 minutes against the Mavericks, we truly played great team D that game, even though the eye test proved Gordon to be as bad on D as always.
I expect his stats to fall back to earth, if he continues playing.
