Henderson for Haywood's fully non-gauranteed contract. What say you all?

here's a fair one according to the draft board - MKG for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson straight up.

Don't think it would work cap wise. Henderson and Roberts might though.

You guys aren't under the cap? The Cavs might take the deal with Roberts anyway. I think we need to first show LBJ that we're "trying" to get Wade with the Haywood contract and it's just not possible. But after the opt out date, I'd be down.

With Al and Hendo opting in we have no space.

Should've just flipped Lance for Haywoods contract

But Hendo would be in the out box. You'd only need about $3.5 million in space for the two minutes it took for the league to approve the trade and cut Haywood.

Imagine how awkward Bizwalker's avatar would be after that trade.

We won't though. If Roberts is in, which all of us are fine with, we can do it. Gives you a vet backup PG as well as a good defensive SG. Not a bad deal.

You're preaching to the converted. I'd rather have two role players who were better than the league-minimum life-alert crew we had on the bench in the Finals than another fading star.

That's an easy pass for the Cavs. We have enough money tied up with the front court.

Kemba and #9 to Knicks for #4
Zeller to Indiana for #11

Russell or Hezonja with #4
Payne or Booker with #11

If you get Russell, then take Booker
If you get Hezonja then take Payne

They fired Brooks, right? We don't know what Lamb's place is there now.

Any deal involving us sending you guys an asset for Haywood is probably a no-go TBH, that is after we originally sent him AND a pick to you guys for Jack **** (which may as well have been the actual name of the player we got in the deal before sending him to the Pelicans for nothing, just so they could use his contract in the Asik deal).

Hendo for Haywood would literally be, by the transitive property:

CLE in: Henderson, Dwight Powell (second rounder we gave away)
CHA in: Cash

I for one would like to see what that Cash becomes by the transitive property.

We're not a match imo. The Cavs are saying they want a facilitator and they credit the stockpile of playmakers on Golden State as a key reason they won and the Cavs lost. Henderson does not fit that at all. Plus they're willing to attach pick 24 after the draft. They're looking for a pretty decent player, not Hendo. Hendo is the anti-facilitator. He is our big al black hole on the perimeter to compliment the one in the paint.

Ok, I'm really stretching for ideas to move up, so this is a bit "creative".

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=os32g5g

Charlotte gets: Jose Calderon + Jason Thompson + Tim Hardaway Jr + 6(SAC)

NY gets: Cody Zeller + Darren Collison + 9(CHA)

Sacramento gets: Marvin Williams + Hendo + 4(NY) + 39(CHA)

Kemba/Calderon/Roberts
HardawayJr/Hezonja/Daniels
MKG/Barnes/Hairston
Thompson/Hawes/Vonleh
Al/Biz

When did the player who you hoped would opt out become an asset?
