Other teams signing players from Greensboro is about as good of an endorsement of what they're doing there as it gets. That's how you build a culture, the other players see for themselves that what they're doing is working so they buy in and things start to snowball.

Earlier in this thread back in early Nov I said this:

BigSlam wrote:Jalen Crutcher impressing me again.

Could be a great back up PG post Ish.

BigSlam wrote:In previous games I’ve thought that Crutcher had done a good job running the point and getting shots for team mates.

If something happens and we don't/can't resign Thing #1, Scottie Lewis might be a good, cheap replacement.

They play very similarly IMO.

Yeah I was really hopeful that he'd develop a lot over the off-season and that he'd be part of the rotation this season. He's still only 20 years old.

Carey has always had a good to great offensive game. His big problem is defense. I've always considered defense the more cerebral part of the game compared to offense. Carey doesn't lack in intelligence, but does lack in defensive BBIQ. Being half a step slow on every switch or block-out assignment makes it tough to play the big guy for more than a few minutes at a time.

Kai dunking everything.

3 dunks in a row.

1 him taking his defender off the 3pt line and driving for the dunk.

Next 2 rolling hard and receiving off the P&R.

I will say this about Bouk: He shows potential with his body control. Really seems to understand how to get the most out of his length and being able to hang in the air a little to extend the time he has to take a shot when he drives.

Lewis is a very active defender. Cameron Mcgriff is built like a damn linebacker.

Kai needs to wait longer when setting those screens.

Needs to stop getting caught on those backdoor, baseline cuts as well.

If or when Kai figures it all out his length and quickness is going to be a huge problem for opposing teams at the 5. Has a long, long way to go though.

I've loved his energy and effort all season. He really does remind me of Thing #1 so much.

Scottie tries to do a little too much at times as well. If he could just keep it simple, like Thing #1 has been doing, I could see Scottie as a valuable NBA rotational player.

I watched him quite a bit in college. Uber athletic players like him who commit to the defensive end will always find a role somewhere.

Just after I wrote about him keeping it simple he hit a great drive and power hop spot up J then drains a nice corner 3!!
