I actually had a Charlotte Hornets trashcan, I swear. And it was glow in the dark! I loved when Baron Davis played. @JLin7

When asked about his favorite non-basketball sport:

@hornets
not to be stereotypical... but does ping pong count? I own a ping pong table. -@JLin7

Looking forward to the inevitable Lin vs. Cho ping pong match.

that Charlotte Hornets was actually now Pelicans though. :oops: not good, lin

We have all Charlotte NBA history...

Yah, and didn't you guys actually pay to own it? No need to deny it since it did cost $$...

Well, he did say that he's transitioning between his old hair cut and the new one that he wants. His current haircut is at the half-way point, and he knows it looks goofy. But this won't be the final haircut he ends up with, just a stepping stone. No idea what he's aiming for after his hair grows out.

If I remember correctly, the only cost associated with the name change was simply the rebranding costs (ie costs to change signs, uniforms, logo design, new floor etc...). I do not believe any fee was paid to New Orleans for the name or history.

I believe you are correct, I seem to remember the Pelicans being really cool about just giving us the history pre-NO.

Yeah, Benson just gave up the history without issue.

In unrelated news, his children have been alleging that he is "mentally unfit" to run the Saints and Pelicans.

Is it just me or does this post make LP's man crush on Parsons look tame?

Jeremy Lin 2015 stats - PTS11.2, REB2.6 AST4.6. The numbers would be much better if the team had more good shooters and defenders. But there is no way to have better stats if you were benched in a tanking team. Kobe had the highest usage in NBA last year with the worst PT% and 3P% as a starter, it is so unfair to blame on JLin for not helping Lakers. The coach Scott never takes any responsibility. Actually, you can credit him for the top 2 pick.

Based on what we have seen so far this summer, it will be a long long season for the Lakers. Russell is nowhere to be ready for the NBA yet. Koba gonna ruin the kid before he has a chance to develop. Russell better get used to getting yelled at.
