Its definitely a spot of need

The Panthers don't have a starting WR1, WR2. or LT, and have no monies. Gettleman will take last year's approach to CB IMO until all this ugly money is off the cap.

Its gonna be a rough next two years, but then he'll have 50+ million in cap

I think Jason Verrett will be the best cornerback from this draft. He's a bit unheralded because he's not freakishly athletic or a lot of size, but he's very skilled

I was mad at my Eagles for releasing DeSean Jackson. The only way they can make it up to me is to draft Johnny Manziel. Otherwise, I'll be watching the Redskins next season

The Panthers have been historically extremely good in the first round, hope Gettleman can keep it up. Only Beason ended up as mediocre, and even then he was a probowler for a while.

Charles Godfrey restructured his contract (4 million more monies) and i think Cotchery and Avant are solid WR's but it doesn't matter if Cam is running for his life every play

i get that, but gettleman also keeps screaming he wont draft for need only. wrs are so hit or miss as well. such a high bust rate. i am not as worried about our o-line. cam isnt eli manning. he can move around. not saying i would want a CB over the positions of desperate need, but it wouldnt shock me to see us not take a tackle or WR.

watching the redskins as an eagles fan? thats seems like a major fan violation.

I'd love a CB, I just can't see anything but OT considering his philosophy (NFL is won at the line)

wouldnt be the worst idea. some of those teams in the top 10 that passed on QBs could definitely offer up some picks to move up to get one.

Id love to trade out of the first round, get an additional second rounder or something in the process.

Definitely if Manziel is at 28. However does any team besides Houston and Minnesota need him? Minny can simply wait for Bridgewater.

Cleveland tried to trade back up to get him after they passed on him twice lol
