Now that's a Bobcats worthy commercial. Keffer should have copied that instead.

i heard that biz commercial on the radio this morning which is what prompted me to think about how little the bobcats have actually done to promote biz. they have done more to promote byron mullens this season than biz.

At Biyombo's age, he's already 245lb(measured in the Adidas EuroCamp)

6'8.31" without shoes........i dunno thats 6'10" in NBA right?

i remember players like K.Love(6'7.75" w/o shoes), Tyrus Thomas(6'7.5"), Birdman, Al Jefferson, Chris Wilcox(6'8.25" w/o shoes) and Turiaf are all listed at 6'10"' but are shorter than Biyombo

First off....I want to freely admit that this is a Fantasy basketball question....and I apologize for taking this "technically" OT....but can you provide some insight into whether Silas will continue to give Biyombo any minutes for the remainder of the season?

I'd ask in the Fantasy BBall forum...but he's totally off of most people's radar.

From my understanding; Diaw, Diop, Mullens and Tyrus are the only Players that stand in front of him in the Frontcourt rotation. I'm looking to trade for Biyombo and was wondering if he's going to get the necessary minutes to produce for the rest of the season and wanted to ask the experts as to whether you guys think he'll get those minutes.

I'll doubt he'll get consistent minutes for the remainder of the year simply because he's training on the fly at this point. He'll start but his minutes would range anywhere from 20-35 a game. With a small training camp and no summer league, he's learning as he goes so Coach Silas will eventually take him out games every now and again. He's still a reliable player for blocks regardless of minutes but it seems like the rebounds and points is dependent on how much minutes he plays.

Thanks. I'm okay with decent rebounding and shotblocking out of Biyombo as long as the minutes are there.

There is no reason to sit him. I would expect him getting minutes he is getting now and starting with maybe some exceptions when facing giantish centers so Silas would throw Diop on them in the starting lineup (not eating much of Bismack minutes anyway) partially to show him off.

He is second in league in block percentage and haven't had real foul troubles lately so there are reasons to be optimistic with the latter. He is just solid in rebound fantasy wise, he produces them as C should so there is no trade off with his blocks and that's enough to keep in my opinion.

Midterm report with Biyombo

http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/762 ... rubio-more

If Bismack Biyombo's chart looks familiar, that's because it's nearly identical to Kanter's, except Biyombo is slightly less effective in each category. Biyombo is at his best when he is putting back offensive rebounds and using his mobility to show against pick-and-roll offense. He struggles, however, with anything related to offense aside from putbacks, and Biyombo's PPP when posting up and rolling to the rim are in the NBA's bottom 10 percent.

Biyombo must work on the mechanics of his post game. For starters, he is way too upright. When Biyombo fights for position, he gets low and uses his lower body to create and occupy space. But once he catches the ball, Biyombo leaves his stance and becomes too straight. This makes it easy for defenders to nudge Biyombo away from the basket and out of scoring position. Biyombo's inability to gain ground in the post forces him to take some incredibly difficult shots and leads to a low efficiency rating.

The Biz Vs Kanter careers are two that I will be watching closely over the next 10 years.

Is the injury serious? Anyone know if he's going to be out for an extended period of time?
