Barnes for me.

Then Sullinger at #24 and Wroten at #31.

No one really talks about Barnes being the 2nd best player in the draft but a lot of guys see that in MKG. I don't, but still.

Sullinger won't be on the board at #24.

It'd be like winning a "sports car" and when you go to the dealer to get your prize, it's just a mustang.

A free car is a free car and is better than getting a Vespa in Robinson.

I'd sell the mustang and buy something nicer if I wanted a sports car.

EDIT (lose barnes, get something nice)

I'd view that as a hell of a draft if it played out that way

pretty good spread of skills with those guys, but I don't think Sullinger would be a great fit with Biyombo due to size. I think that drummond, white, and Wroten would be better.

I don't think Sully will be there at 24, but there's always the chance. Supposedly he won't go top 15 and 24 is only 9 spots later than that, so it is in the "range" of where he could be picked.

I'm really torn with MKG and Barnes. Honestly don't know who I like better. I think it's easy to say Barnes because offense can be sexy while the things MKG does are not necessarily as sexy. Still though, MKG could end up being the better player because of his intangibles and ability to drive. I couldn't be too angry with either one. Still hoping we draft TRob if available though.

If we pick with 4, 24, and 31, Drummond, Miller, Doron Lamb would be the rookie trio I'd pick up. They fit our three biggest needs. Drummond is our center, moving Biz back to his natural PF spot. Quincy would be a very good scorer at the 3, and Lamb would be a great shooter off the bench.

I remember last year we weren't sure who would be better, Quincy Miller or Barnes. Taking Miller at 24 feels a lot better than Barnes at 4 or (god forbid) 2.

Even with his huge drop in draft stock, I'd take Quincy with a late 10s pick and not think twice about it, unless someone like Moultrie or Harkless was still there. I would be very upset if we took Barnes at 2 (or 4 for that matter).

Id much rather have Gilchrist over Barnes, personally.

I like both MKG and White, but are you sure you want to take 2 SF's in the 1st?

I like the idea of drafting the best player available no matter what the position, especially on this team which lacks talent in basically all facets of the game. White can play PF, Gilchrist of course st SF, and Fournier can play either the 2 or 3.

I don't think Royce is a three. I'd be more worried if we take two forwards that can't shoot worth crap.

Both listed as SF's White is 6'8 260 lbs and MKG is 6'9 230 lbs. You could try White at PF, but not so sure it works. Not his natural and projected position.

Ohara, no offense but Royce is clearly not a 3. Anyone who listed him as a SF is on serious paint thinners. He's a point-forward but he can dominate the paint with his savvy and athleticism.

None taken. But both ESPN and nbadraft.net have him listed as a SF. DX has him listed as a PF. So I dont think "clearly" is an appropriate word no matter which position one argues for Royce.
