Then I will say it. Under no circumstances whatsoever should we even consider signing Al. We already have a coach who I struggling to develop an offense so why would we keep the crutch he uses to keep us a bad offensive team.

Now that both Al and Hendo have opted in, how would you deal with this if you're Clifford? You can't hide these guys, can you? This roster is nearly identical as last years save for a few tinkers here and there and no Lance. Actually no Lance means more Hendo than we saw last year imo.
This stable of stiffs Cho has given Clifford is totally pathetic and what can Cliff do?
Bench Al?
Bench Hendo?
It's the same tools for the same last place offense.

Can't wait to hear the presser about nothing.
They will wage war against the Lamb but the Lamb will triumph them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings - and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers." Revelation 17:14 (NIV)

Clifford wants the team based around Al. He could and should bench him, but he won't. Al isn't playing because Clifford has no choice but to deal with him.

This is definitely on Cliff. BRD can't coach offense at all. He has nothing going on at that end. He complains about shooting then does not play our two best range options on the wing. I am not sure you can get that guy a group of players he can make into a functional offense short of getting him a star that can run that end of the court without Cliff.

To give him a team that he could make work around Al you would need a PF that can shoot 3s, protect the rim, and create off the dribble out the high post, and elite 3&D players 1-3. None of the actual impact players could be young or theyd potentially randomly get frozen out of the rotation for the 3rd string vets.

Benching a 13.5 million dollar fan favorite in a small market is not realistic - at all.

Benching a 6 million dollar clubhouse leader and fan favorite for Daniels or knucklehead PJ is equally unrealistic.

Then our franchise isn't serious about winning. Regardless, Clifford does not want to bench Al.

Seriously…
With Al and Hendo opting in it couldn't be more obvious that Clifford's hands are tied and Cho did a crappy job with the roster.

Yes. Ideally Biz, but I would take Hawes too.

Cliff is serious about keeping his job. If the front office ordered or at least pressured Cliff to bench Al, you think Cliff would push back? Seems like a traditional guy to me who complies with hierarchy. Such a crap roster, can you AT LEAST admit that.

If the front office lets Biz walk, is that Cliff's fault as well?

No, but I'm not trying to absolve or defend Cho and the front office for being complicit in this. If Clifford benched Al and the team improved I don't think MJ or Cho would pressure him to play Al again for the fans.

Im going to say that if they let Biz walk that there is no way that Clifford isn't largely responsible for that one. He could not have made it any clearer that he doesn't value Biz and doesn't want to play him in his system, to the point of trying to get away with playing Maxiell instead. If Biz would have got the minutes he deserved last season I don't think there is much chance we would be considering letting him go unless someone throws a crazy contract at him.

Well the effect of your constant 24-7 attack on Cliff takes the target off Cho's back so if you truly believe he's complicit you should at least mention it in your attacks. We talk about bringing in an offensive coordinator - it's the same deck of cards. The person who "helps Cliff with offense" should be Cho. But Cho hasn't done that. He has got virtually (not completely) shut out the past 2 deadlines. The list of whiffs is growing. He brought in Neal, then Mo Williams, both vet journeymen not legitimate starters or anyone who can pressure Cliff to replace Hendo or Al.

Cho just said that they are going to take best player available in the presser. Says they will address shooting, but it might not necessarily be through the draft.
