Hornets were down 15 points in each of the first two games of this streak, and shot their way out of it...doesn't scream great coaching to me

Hawks win was super nice, but we have to have that intensity for every game now not just one in four

Is this a coaching issue?

Or is this a "the guys literally don't give a **** about playing defense" issue?

Dude is one bucket from 50, any other team would be trying VERY hard to keep him from hitting that mark. Not these guys. I'm sure it's a scheme issue though

So I see this article where the Iowa State coach took a team that was 2-22 the previous year to the sweet 16 in his first year on the job.

Does anybody think JB could do something like that?

What has he ever done to prove he might be that guy?

Give me a young college coach who has proven he can do more with less.

I think if we had a true Jedi as a coach, we could really see some changes

Different sport obviously but Matt Rhule had scarred me for a while as far as the college to pros ordeal.

A low bar considering our talent gets underestimated by the bookies IMO being a small market team and we are perenial underacheivers as a franchise.

Either way credit where credit is due. We are playing much better in March and kudos must go to JB and his staff. Lets hope we can sustain it (particularly on the defensive end)!

JB’s calling card is a late-season collapse. This one won’t be any different than last year’s.

so we're just making **** up now?

8-4 down the stretch in 2018-19

N/A 2019-20 because COVID but that team never collapsed it just wasn't ever good

last season's collapse can be linked to no Hayward and no LaMelo for much of the second half of the season, and then Miles getting COVID down the stretch.

currently 7-2 in our last 9

Still very much on the fence at best. But he has a stay of execution for now.

So the question is, are we Borrego fired watch? Hard to overcome back to back stinkers in the play in game.

I was wrong. Last year’s play-in was a 27-point blowout. This year’s was a 29-point blowout.
