Who's the fake Hornets fan on GB suggesting we trade Melo to the Lakers lol?

Guy is probably just a LaMelo fan who wants him to play for his Lakers smh

Melo has the second best odds for most improved player at +650 behind Franz Wagner

my dream if I ever get GB access again is to just make a thread called "Why were you wrong about LaMelo Ball?" and list out all the dumb **** I've ever had to read about him:

a. exposed my utter and complete inability to judge draft prospects
b. i'm a GSW fan and its imperative that i downplay his level because his existence gives me insecurities about my team not actually being lightyears ahead
c. i'm a wolves fan who is still salty than he won ROY over our guy
d. i'm a weirdo that hates on a kid because his dad jokes around on TV
e. i'm a weirdo that handwrings over someone's tattoos
f. i'm a racist that hears AAVE and reflexively has to call the speaker stupid

Cause I really don't know if I've ever once read anything positive about him on there
I'd probably just get banned again, mocking the clowns on the PC board got me banned from the GB so mocking them directly would be the end of me

I just got my ban lifted from GB. Maybe they just hate Hornets fans?

I got a strike for "derailing" by saying players shouldn't have to endorse owners political statements just because teams have supported players political statements in the past, in a thread literally about that exact topic

but theyll let the clowns like the OP of that thread (same one calling Grant Williams knee blowout a flop on GB) continue on forever

Based on the comments on your profile, I’d say it’s a long shot that you get to make that thread. Why not just let it go? Melo has been healthy and fun to watch and he gives us long suffering Hornets fans a glimmer of hope for future seasons. Holding grudges against anonymous internet people requires more emotional investment from you than from those you have perceived as wronging you/LaMelo/the franchise. What do the responses look like in your head that would be satisfying? “I was wrong about LaMelo because my homerism had me rooting against him since Wiseman didn’t work out like I’d hoped, but he’s a fun to watch player on a winning team with a bright future and I’m adult enough to admit when I was wrong.” I wouldn’t hold my breath for that. Idk, I hope you get reinstated if you enjoy participating on the board, but you appear to be a pretty dreaded poster there, so maybe if you get to go back you could think about not immediately cashing in receipts with what appears to be maybe not the most untrolly post outline?

it actually takes me very little emotional and energetic bandwidth to bicker with people on this dying website. i do most of it whilst getting paid so it may even improve my daily mood tbh. its not often you get to call out basically the entire board for bad takes. id definitely love to see that list of comments though.

Fair enough I guess. Piss on the ashes on the way out instead of adding something to make it better though… makes me kinda sad. Realgm was once great fun and it still seems better to me than Reddit or discord. Getting paid to post, living the dream!

the most recent threads for my team there are: Trade LaMelo to LA, Grant Williams flops into ACL tear (this one gets locked by the admin who still throws one more "im glad hes not on my team" cheap shot in the lock post even!), LaMelo getting trashed for 100 posts in his "hype" thread

that place sucks horribly. the team boards are great though

The GB is so pathetic. Full of jealousy.

They should’ve closed it down after the ONBA thread.

It’s just so **** weird man. Like he’s held to a superstar standard by everyone but even when he meets it he still sucks and at best the trolls just hide for a day or two. You don’t see this discourse around Scottie Barnes for example, because everyone knows LaMelo is actually much better than Barnes and holds him accountable to that level every night but refuses to ever actually give him any props whatsoever for being at that level lol

Like that dumbass or dumbasses on there sayinf they wouldn't take lamelo on their team because they have banchero and wagner. That'd be like me saying I wouldn't take a prime Steph and combine him with Melo and Miller. **** out of here people are strange.

The entire contingent of Warriors GB posters on this legitimately believe that picking Wiseman was the superior pick to this day.

I get the pick because they had a massive hole at center and although that year curry klay and everyone was hurt and they knew they were still contenders but damn. That draft right there is why I'll always preach pick best player available. Unless it's a horrid draft like we just had and why not shoot for the stars with salaun

Over here in Magicland thinking I’m having a rational convo with some mod over there and then it turns out he’s just incredibly butthurt about LaMelo putting their dude in skates and hitting

Bro Jonathan Isaacs is a great defender and Lamelo murdered him all night.
