Not even close. At least Drummond will have an NBA position, don't know about Perry Jones.

PJ3 will play SF. he is too skilled to be a total bust, Drummond however has barley any skill right now

Honestly I do not think we will be a serious contender with Biz playing Center for his entire career. I think we would be better off letting him play PF and get minutes at Center sometimes. Obviously until we get a center I am fine with Biz playing it because we have no better options.

The Thunder were not sucessful with Ibaka playing center so they dealt for Kendrick Perkins. Do we really want to go this route?

If I were the Bobcats I would overpay for Roy Hibbert.... We would be getting a good player, hurting an eastern conference competitor. I realized he is restricted so we probably wont get him, but at least make the Pacers overpay to keep him so they cant get Eric Gordon too. A front court of Hibbert and Biz would be dominant.

If we do not land Hibbert there is always Cody Zeller, Nerlens Noel, and other big men prospects in next years draft.

Kemba
Hendo
MKG
Biz
Hibbert or Zeller

That team is one wing scorer away... You just replace Hendo... and move MKG to opposite wing of scorer... Wiggins anybody....

or we can draft Thomas Robinson this year and have a young undersized frontcourt that will keep us in mediocrity...until we decide to trade or bench him or Biz for some size...

Next years draft top 3 prospects...
Zeller
Muhammed
Noel

We are going to be up there again... and all these guys are would be good fits...

One thing I haven't heard mentioned enough is Beal's age... he is 18 with plenty of room for development and physical growth

Beal's got 3 years less PT than Robinson -- look at the jump in Robinson's production and development just over the last two years, his pts/40min went up 50%

T-Rob may be more of an established stud at this point, but you've seen everything he has to offer. With Beal, we haven't even scratched the surface.

If the pistons could win a ring with Ben Wallace as their center, and with sheed as a stretch 4, we could be contenders with Biz at C

Marshon Brooks plays like a old Kobe
Brad Beal plays like a old Ray Allen, he has no explosion

showing zero improvement from day one to the final is indicative to either his bbiq or work ethic because UConn has been magnificent at molding big men on the college level. I'm not drinking anything, when I watched him play he looked unimpressive and when I look up the stats they say he was mediocre. But maybe it was just bad coaching and his real talent level was shown in high school like Josh Selby and Xavier Henry

Ha ha ha, no. Drummond is an untapped goldmine of skill. He will abuse T-Rob in workouts. He's faster, bigger, a better passer, has better hands, and has better court vision. T-Rob has a more polished post game (not much though, Sullinger owns that title in this draft), and better range and that's it.

PJIII doesn't have much range to speak of and is starting to sound like a taller Marvin Williams. Would still pick him up mid 1st round though.

That's the beauty of the Drummond pick. AD and Biz would be interchangeable depending on match-ups. With T-Rob and Biz, you're pretty much stuck with Rob at PF and Biz as an undersized C.

If we do not land Hibbert there is always Cody Zeller, Nerlens Noel, and other big men prospects in next years draft.

I'm ignoring the overpay Hibbert part b/c I like you. Andre is leagues better than any big men that are going to come out in the next couple of years. Noel makes Andre look like Vlade in terms of IQ and Zeller's game is too old-fashioned. He's getting bigger though and could be another Chris Kaman but Andre's ceiling is way higher than a Kaman.

so Drummond will only work when things are going perfect, sounds bad
Also Beal doesn't have explosiveness, definitely not at an elite level like Eric Gordon

STRENGTHS: Extremely well-rounded. … Struggled early his freshman season, but shot it well the second half of the year -- and is a terrific perimeter shooter with a clean stroke and deep range. … Has near flawless mechanics when he sets his feet -- with a quick release and good lift. … Not a one-dimensional scorer as he can also put in on the floor and has a deceptively explosive first step.… Finishes well around the basket due to his physicality. … Rebounds extremely well for his position. … Long arms which make him appear - and allow him to play - bigger than his size. … Has a terrific feel for the game and a high basketball IQ. … Passes well for a two-guard. … Is willing and able to defend and has shown the desire to guard at the college level. … Terrific team guy, who will blend in with anyone and possesses a great demeanor and poise. … Makes quality decisions and rarely forces bad shots.

No, he had the same sort of season you'd expect Biz to have if Sam Vincent was his coach all year.

Beal's game is reminiscent of, I won't say old, a seasoned Ray Allen. Young Ray Allen could throw down like a beast. Beal definitely has that deceptive athleticism, he's not a slouch but he won't be going to any dunk contests any time soon.

So you're telling me Calhouns lead assistant was the equivalent of Sam Vincent? sorry I don't buy that excuse, Uconn produces nothing but BUSTS for bigmen

you clearly are not watching the same video i am because the kid runs the floor like a deer, has great lateral quickness, is strong as an ox and jumps out the gym...his game is full of skills that you cant teach and issues that are easily fixed with coaching...the biggest issue this kid has is a confidence problem on a team that was train wreak full of chuckers. he looks like the kind of player that we greatly benefit from playing in a more open nba game. I am willing to bet that next season as a nba rookie he could match his college avgs of 10 and 7 with 2 blocks

Drummonds issues are not things that are "easy to fix by coaching" if he's naturally apathetic and lazy coaching won't do anything for that
