I'll just throw this out again. I'm a huge Carlos Delfino fan. He would be a great fit on the Bobcats now.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

What kind of deal would he be getting? Would we have to renounce Hendo? I do like the idea of adding 3pt shooting.

I really like Delfino. Would he sign for an exception or...?

Who are the other available FA SG's? Would we consider signing Delfino + young capable SG who's better than BG as opposed to signing Hendo? I really love Hendo but if he wants a big contract I'd consider all options.

if we decided against hendo, i would offer a cheap 2 year deal to morrow. we could probably get away with playing a platoon of morrow, gordon, taylor and sessions at shooting guard. morrow would be the best shooter on the team and give us spacing. he is also from charlotte.

If the FO is trying to make a playoff run then we have to have a solid 3 point threat or this team will fail miserably.

Damn... I would of liked to get OJ on a deal in that neighborhood... Hopefully we can land Henderson at this point.

Sidenote: Who in the world is Dallas going to Sign???

Mavs are closing in on a deal with Spanish point guard Jose Calderon, ESPN has learned

I guess that answers my question....

4 YEARS!!!!!!!! for 29 million!!!!

Seems a bit long for that type of money... Guess Dallas is not going to go for the 1 Year contracts route again.

Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but I found this pretty interesting:

Sam Amico ‏@SamAmicoFSO 2h
Opposing GM on why Al Jefferson chose Bobcats: "Best city in America. Once they win a little, and they will, it'll be free-agent priority."

Would love to know who the GM is. I'm sure this is nowhere close to the majority, but still cool to see.

He's right. "Best city in America" is a bit over-the-top but there are some damn nice areas of Charlotte. I don't think the Lebrons and Dwights of the NBA are flocking over here, but once we're consistently winning and have shed our reputation of being perennial bottom-dwellers (the Hornets name definitely helps there), free agents will start noticing us. I'm surprised someone has noticed us already. I didn't expect a signing of Jefferson's caliber for another 3-4 years.

Charlotte has come a long way in the past 10 years. We have an arena downtown. A new Knights stadium is being built in downtown Charlotte. It could possibly attract an MLB team in the future. There are many new attractions and restaurants around the city. Charlotte is becoming a more attractive city to raise a family due to the lower cost of living compared to the bigger American cities. Not to mention that crime rates are not quite as bad. It's one of the fastest growing cities in America and a city full of transplants.

That also explains why many Charlotte residents are not Bobcats/Panthers fans.

Charlotte is nice, but I would argue that the crime rate in charlotte is worse than it gets credit for.

Again, depends on what area you live in. Uptown is particularly bad though.

Not when compared to other cities. It's all relative.

Well back 2 years ago I had gone to Charlotte for the ACC Championship with a few buddies. We went to the bars like a few football lengths away from the actual stadium. Well that night we ended up seeing this girl get stabbed in the neck by a beer bottle and die. So maybe we just were in the wrong place at the wrong time but that was the first time I had been able to go out to a bar in Charlotte. BTW Charlotte-Mecklenburg police suck at doing their jobs.

Edit: Also a year after that I watched someone get robbed about half a block infront of me. He got caught but yeah. The crime rate there is awful.
