Don't you just get that bad vibe from a washed-up veteran or a past his prime popular player joining the Knicks? It just has happened so many times before. I have a feeling that this experiment won't end well.

John Wall's out for a long time after a patella injury. Except for the defending NBA Champions, our division blows.

Good for them, that could save them from themselves - the treadmill they built with recent trades.

I still don't know if they'll be bad enough. Okafor and Nene make a very good frontline.

Yeah, I'm sure that for the 10 games they'll actually play together that Wizards team will be something.

+ DeJuan Blair. When Tim Duncan starts to look anorexic, you know what's happening.

That's why he'll have to retire.

well, that didnt take long. i wish him the best because he is fun to watch, but certainly now anyone can see why drafting him was such a huge risk.

Was he THAT heavy before? I recall him being a little "thick", but 51 pounds? He get sick or something?

Looks like the kings are already experimenting with t.rob as a sf.
Whether or not its due to the kings ineptitude or t.rob really having tweener issues, the face we already have a glut of serviceable pfs makes me think that we really did well avoiding him.

Not to say "I told you so" to you guys or anything...

...Just when I thought they have a really good starting five of Cousins/Robinson/Evans/Thornton/Thomas. Now is Thornton going to come off the bench or something?

Watched a little bit of the Nuggets the other night on NBA LP - came away thinking that 1) Iggy is a great fit for that club, 2) the Clips' Deandre Jordan looked like a beast - he has come a long way on the offensive end, and 2) taking a chance on A. Randolph wouldn't have been the worst thing the Bobs ever did. I know there was some concern about Randolph and T2 being redundant, but Randolph looked entirely comfortable/under control on the court, has great handles for a big, boards well, and was very efficient offensively, putting up 8/7/2 (blocks) in 18 minutes.

I might be missing the connection you're drawing between anxiety and clown, but it can't be any worse than calling a MKG Waterboy, right Dave?

Not even close, friend. My observation is much more accurate and less insulting.

The Waterboy: An inspiring, talented athlete with a stuttering problem on a team of ragtag misfits.

MKG: An inspiring, talented athlete with a stuttering problem on a team of ragtag misfits.

A clown: A circus performer in make-up and comical attire that provides comic relief, often in the form of physical comedy.

Royce White: An inspiring, talented athlete with an anxiety problem on a team of nothing but PFs.

Former Bobcat training fodder Nathan Jawai got 13 pts. 6 rebs, 2blks in 17 minutes against Dallas while playing for Barcelona.

NBA.com highlights showed some nifty passing by him as well.

Yes, I'm biased because he's Aussie, but I wish he was in this condition (actually fit) when he trialled for us.

I'm not convinced he couldn't be a role player in the NBA.
