Our fanbase as any can be really fickle at times, Cody Zeller and Rich Cho did not deserve to be heckled and surely it must have rankled a bit!

Zeller will prove them all wrong and due to the new CBA I'm pretty sure he'd have a hard time leaving town regardless of if he wanted to.

Just found this interview, other notable questions:

"If you could only watch one tv show, what would it be?" The Office (I'm gonna like this guy)
"Do you have any pet peeves?" Talking to the media

I was one of the people livid that we took him, feeling like we reached, but I couldn't be happier that we have him now. He seems like the high-character, good teammate kinda guys we want. He's got a good sense of humor and a good jumpshot to go along with it. Go cats
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

i wish i could bet the over for zeller's FTA this season. with the way he somehow ends on the floor with any shot attempt within 5 ft of the rim, i think he might overcome any kind of rookie bias and shoot a bunch of free throws this year and going forward.

he's gonna get blocked alot, and fouled alot, shoot lots of free throws and get lots of easy points at the rim. he will keep going to the rim regardless of the past. i like that.

its not the same as with toodles who got blocked frequently because he was so passive around the basket.

i could care less if zeller gets blocked 2-3 times a games as long as he is still getting his fair share of layups, dunks and free throws and shooting good percentages around the rim. as well as he finishes inside 5 feet, you pretty much have to block his shot or foul him to prevent him from scoring.

I just hope he gets the calls he should as a rookie unlike Kemba.

Definitely pleased at Zeller's performance during the summer league. He's not getting back just on his athleticism but is showing a real head for the game the latter of which is important because while his athleticism is a major difference make at the college and even at the summer league level it won't nearly the advantage at the NBA level. But I think we'll see him produce nicely in his first season and he might even be in the Rookie of the Year running because he'll hopefully get the minutes.

Very backhanded compliments.

"The Bobcats did well, even making the semis of the SL tournament, but doubters grew louder"

"Cody looked good in the SL, but will it translate to the NBA?" Meanwhile, "CJ Mccollum proved he can be a lethal scorer in the NBA with his SL performance" by the same writer.

And of course more MKG bashing and Biz "should be dominating for a 3rd year 7 footer"

For all the basketball writers ESPN hired, they sure don't watch anything beyond whats on ESPN/TNT

Zeller was the unanimous choice for best rookie in Vegas by the 5-on-5. Not is thread, but Biyombo did get a vote for worst veteran in Vegas.
