We've showed interest in Morrow.

We've got about 2m in the cap if I'm not mistaken so that should be enough to get it done.

~2m for a guy that has scored over 50 points in a game and is also a top tier shooter would be a great signing in this market.

:(
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Morrow ... wth happened to him? By the numbers it looks like he has been getting worse and worse over time. Has he had to deal with injuries or something?

I feel like Hendo would be the perfect sixth man for us. Well for a lot of teams really. Solid as hell defender with a fantastic inside game. But I hope we find a way to get rid of deadwood and maybe have enough money to sign Hendo. Not sure who would take deadwoods contract really, maybe the Heat?

I don't get why we would bring someone like Morrow in when we already have Gordon on the roster who does pretty much the same as Morrow?

I think we are interested in Morrow, because he is more of a pure shooter... Ben Gordon tries to do too much sometimes and will look to put the ball on the floor over taking a good looking jumper. Also, Gordon is an expiring contract next offseason, so they may be wanting lock up somebody cheap for a few years... Either way we need depth on the wings and shooters and morrow fits both...

Also, since I mentioned Gordon expiring.. I was looking at next years free agent class and not to get ahead of myself, but there is hardly any free agent guards available. Food for thought is that we are going to be also, losing Sessions on his friendly deal. So we will be taking 18 million off the books, but while losing our only backcourt subs...

Not to get ahead of ourselves, but I am not seeing anyone capable of taking over their shared duty of 6th man... Maybe we should be looking for some type of trade involving them, rather than waiting and missing out and losing them for nothing, without capable replacements for their production

Because Morrow is from Charlotte and by now everyone in Charlotte who knows anything about Ben Gordon hates seeing him on the court.

This was the whole reason I wanted Mayo. That 18 million only makes sense if we trade for a guard. Mayo makes half that and he's better than most of the guards out there. To get someone like Klay Thompson is probably a pipe dream. The front office must think the 2014 draft will bring a starting SG.

Looks like Minny offering Pek around 12 mil per. So, best guess is that we would have had to offer Big Al money to snag him. I love Pek, but assuming a relatively long term deal, I think I would stick with Al on the short termer.

@SamAmicoFSO: Free-agent center Andrew Bynum expected to meet with Cavs in Cleveland today, ESPN reports its sources say.

@SamAmicoFSO: Source describes Andrew Bynum-to-Cavs talk as "very real."

@SamAmicoFSO: Cavs also had eye on Timberwolves C Nikola Pekovic, a restricted free agent, but "Pekovic wants to stay in Minnesota," source says.

I would not sign Bynum. Scares me. Poor attitude and bad wheels. Pass. Cleveland being super aggressive though. Making push for playoffs.

Cool. Bynum and Varejao will combine for about 50 games this season.

Back & hip injury kept him out of a lot of games last year. No idea how bad or what the long term effects might be.

(nothing like answering my own questions....)

Rondo is my man but I'm not sure how viable and valid this rumor is. I'm so confused on what were doing and our direction.

We better not trade Kemba to get Rondo, that would be really stupid
