Anyone here in the medical field? I have black dots in my stool, and it's rather hard to see a doctor with my anxiety.

Went to the ER today with the lady. she had a ruptured ovarian cyst. Sat with her hooked up with an IV and stuff and didn't pass out. May not seem like a big deal, but I'm proud of myself.

could be something as harmless as black beans if you have been to moe's lately. could also be blood. dark blood means bleeding further back in the large intestine (not good). brighter blood means more rectal (not ideal but not nearly as dangerous) if it persists go to your doctor. it could be a big deal.

Haha.

Are cops alowed to randomly detain you like that and make you take a drug test in Latvia? Could you have declined the test and exited the situation freely? I mean, cops can effectively do this in the US and get away with it, but they aren't really supposed to be able to.

I would have likely had to go through some hassle about having the option to do it on the street quickly or going down to the precinct where they'd draw my blood the hard way. Obviously, I had the rights to decline taking the test but I didn't want to go through all of that.

But I have to stress the fact that this seemed to be very out of the ordinary. Had never heard about anything like that in Latvia. They said that there's a drug-scare in the neighbourhood and junkies are stealing stuff from flats. I guess, it's pretty serious if they're down to such measures as random drug testing.

Yeah, that is pretty extreme. I've never even heard of police doing that here in the states, and our police basically just do whatever they want. I'm sure that exact thing does happen here, but it definitely isn't common.

Yeah, unless you were driving or had drugs on you there would be no consequences to you in the US.

I can receive a fine or warning just for using as well.

Ironically, I told the cop, fully believing it myself, upon him asking me about weed, that it's been plenty of time ever since I used it. Then I remembered that I smoked two weeks ago.

I doubt that it's anything that could show up on a saliva test. Makes you wonder why the hell are they doing this in the first place.

Do saliva test even pick up opiates? That's ridiculous either way.

Someone creative do the end of year awards for the posters. I made a thread last year and had some categories and such, but it'd be cool to make it serious/humorous this year and creativity is definitely not my thing.

Was lucky enough to drink a Founder's KBS tonight. Cheers for world class beer.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

One of my favorite beers for sure. I was only able to snag one bottle this year. My secret go-to spot where I can usually get a four-pack without having to stand in some crazy line didn't get KBS this year. But yeah, it's good stuff.

My internship with Pardee Hospital is over and I graduate in May and have a job promised with the local school system in the IT dept.

In the mean time I have to bring in some bacon (pay child support), and got a job at the dollar general store. Holy freaking hell people are rude and obnoxious. Im begging all of you not to be one of "those people" who treat people like trash when they aren't as fortunate as others. Today was my first day, and it was an eye opener for me. Thank God I wont be there long.

I hope Britt McHenry doesn't go to your store.
