Kawhi and CP3 both go down on the same day. This year's playoffs are one of the all-time worst just due to injuries alone.

If Chris Paul was vaccinated it's bull that he's being held out.

I actually think we have a shot to replicate what the Hawks have. We just need to replace our injury prone, non-skilled players with less injury prone skilled players.

Now that I type that out, it sounds a lot more difficult.

Sheesh.

So happy we made the tough (smart) call on Kemba. Happy to have Rozier. Trade looked bad for Celts at first glance, but fair to good at second. Moses is worth the 16th pick, they get out from under Kemba's $$$ and Horford might give them quality minutes in a limited role.

On one hand I feel bad for Kemba. He never would have signed a deal with OKC. On the other, this is the risk you take as a player when you sign enormous contracts and then can’t live up to them. He was destined to be over paid no matter what. MJ made
the smart choice at the time and received a lot of heat for it.

At the end of the day, Kemba is still king of Charlotte (for now) and I hope he ends his career here on a reasonable backup PG contract. By the time that happens, we could be contenders too.

The Celtics are really going to struggle to sign free agents going forward. They should have fired Ainge years ago. I feel bad for Kemba, he's going to go his entire career without experiencing consistent success.

Celtics did what they had to do to get out of that horrific contract. I'm sure OKC will deal him to a far better situation

He'll probably be bought out and sign with the Lakers or something.

Schroder is probably better than Kemba at this point

Kemba is actually a pretty good fit with SGA

Here's what will happen

They'll keep Kemba, he will look great, and flip him for first rounder/assets at the break

Ouch. That's pretty harsh.

I was briefly very excited about the prospect of pairing Kemba with SGA. I guess it will actually happen now, too bad I don't care for the jerseys they'll be wearing.

Now the contract we reportedly had on the table for him doesn’t look so bad. In fact it would still have been an over pay.

Like I said, when that contract is over and assuming his knees still work it would be great to get him back in Charlotte as a backup PG to help add veteran leadership while we (hopefully) are contending. I suspect we will struggle for a good backup PG for a bit if we don’t resign Graham.

Not really. It's pretty close considering Kembas injury issues. But, to each their own.
