I just told my brother during the game that if Bismack becomes a consistent, 12-14 ppg scorer he's undoubtedly the best player on the team. Dude is pwning very good centers left and right AS A ROOKIE.

i've been telling all my half-bobcats-fan friends this for the past month. the first few times they all kinda chuckled and gave me that "whatever" look. then after a few more starts nobody was laughing any more. one of my friends came up to me the other night after going to a recent home game and said "you were totally right about biyombo, he is the best player on the team"

I can't think of anyone else who I'd give that title to right now. :o

Nice find on that picture. Hope we can win that lottery.

BTW, this kid is a beast. He had good timing on that block on Ariza.

Biyombo as of right now isn't our best player skillwise but he is definitely our MVP.

I think DJ is more skilled right now out of the box. I think I agree with you.

It really is! Honestly being a fairly long-suffering Bobcats fan I've pretty much given up on the idea that we could draft a star... With his attitude, development, and athleticism, he has almost unlimited potential!

I was thinking that when ever Biz is not wearing this:

he should dress like Samuel L Jackson out of Shaft.

He should also carry the same wallet SLJ did in Pulp Fiction:

Because he's just, that, cool.

because the building i live in here in toronto is so old, TV shows and movies are filming here almost constantly. last year SLJ was filming something here. guy who lives below me is an avid golfer and a huuuuuuuuge SLJ fan. he wanted to get him to sign one of his golf clubs, but was so hilariously nervous about it. so one night, crew is here until like 5am and SLJ is chilling. guy downstairs has enough liquid courage, goes to him, and he agrees to sign it. now his driver says "Curtis - Keep Drivin' Deep!! - Samuel L Jackson." so awesome.

Anyone watch PTI today? Kornheiser and Wilbon discussed Biyombos block comparing it to another ferocious block last night (completely forgot who it was), and stated Biyombos was better. Kornheiser then went on to state " this is how you build a team, and if you happen to get Anthony Davis with this kind of guy than you have something going for you".

Wilbon then went onto state that if you have Anthony Davis period you have something going for you, but it was nice to get some national tv exposure, albeit just got 30 seconds.

freakon0mics wrote:I like the pairing of him and Greg Monroe. I think both complement each other. Both can handle the majority of bigs in the league defensively. One is more polish on the offensive end while the other is more polish on defense. Not to mention their around the same age. For the next 10 years you already got your front court locked up. So glad we traded ahead of Detroit to draft him. Detroit was eying this front court as well.

As a GM a Team player in the trade forum I usually scope out draft prospects way early. I remember when he 1st showed up on DX and he caught my interest.

a bit down the road as a Piston fan...

I was hoping we could draft him to pair him with Monroe but alas you guys nabbed him 1 spot before us.

Now I am hoping to get Davis next to Monroe so my guess is we get lucky in lotto and get the #2 pick right after the Cats pick Davis. :o

anyway...

congrats on nabbing him and I will be watching to see how he improves further.
