At least I already know my next round pick. Not taking him this round because Diop and Ian can't pick him. No snipe possible for that pick.

To keep it moving... will post more later.

Otis birdsong. 80-81. Forgotten Cities.

Would have preferred world b free to pair with ginobili because he had more playmaking abililty, but not a big deal, Manu is my defacto point guard on the 2nd unit. And birdsong can defend both guard spots. Either way I am getting an all star, 2nd team all NBA scoring machine.

Otis Birdsong 80-81, 24.6ppg, 3.6rpg, 3.3apg, 1.2spg, 54%FG, 2nd team All-NBA, All-Star

Yeah, because he was a gun. I should have known lamar preferred free to birdsong when I could not find a decent birdsong video on YouTube, but lamar had several videos of free.

to quote a wise man from the last time Free was drafted:

he was your typical - me first, get my numbers, black hole - guard. good offensive guy though.

anyhow, I've drafted plenty of scoring, now I'm going for a straight defensive pest to annoy the crap out of other teams wings.

I'm taking Tony Allen 2004-05 with the hack category.

He was 23 and played mainly off the bench averaging 6.4 pts, 2.9bds and 1 steal in 16 minutes a game.

but its not about the stat's for Tony, its about giving the other guard hell

I think Birdsong is about just as good as Free so I wouldn't worry about that. I also contemplated taking Birdsong but at the end just said - screw it, let's just take the.most talented guy, I have other countryside things to worry about (which mostly were... mowing the lawn and taking a bicycle trip to Zelgauska)

Two things - he gunned the most on the rather bad teams where he didn't have as much help. AND Free could pass and fit on a team. Highlights of.him with the Warriors are coming tomorrow.

the fact that people wouldn't appreciate Birdsong enough also came into play when deciding to take Free.

For the Invisible category, I select Shane Battier, 2012-13.

He may be a little bit old that time but he's still an effective defender. I believe his selfless style of play and basketball IQ can fit nicely in my team.

For the Championship Bench category, I select James Posey, 2007-08.

Posey played a crucial role in the Celtics' championship. He was the Sixth Man on that team and often guarded the opposing team's best player. Aside from his defense, he provided perimeter scoring as well.
