If the pick isn't traded, then PJ, Rui, & NAW are all picks that wouldn't make me feel bad.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

I don’t know... if you add beer that least ugly girl gains a lot of points.

The beer only makes you think she’s not ugly.

But in fact she’s still ugly.

If Sekou is still on the board, take him. Maybe we can trade a top 10 protected 2020 pick for Batum.

It kinda does lol. How often have we liked a girl just cause she worked at our job knowing she looked like the number 3 draft pick for the Chicago bears 85 squad.

I cannot decide what to do...?

I can't decide if we should take Naw first and try and hope that either Mcdaniels or Roby falls to us at 36 (if we are lucky and they are still there?) then grab best available at 51.

Or if we should take Samanic first, and pick up someone like Obeishie at 36 and grab a PG later since it's a deep PG draft.

I also can't decide who I like out of PG's - NAW, B.J. Taylor or Zagars.

Or who I like out of PF's - Samanic, Mcdaniels or Roby. (as of late I have started to put Roby right near Samanic and Mcdaniels.)

Only players I am sure I like are SG-Obeishie, SF-Sirvydis, and Centers- Froling, and Alen Smailagic who was brought to us by Snidely FC. If he is even draftable.

I really like international players quite a bit in this draft.

Just can't put the best combination together to draft. It sucks having #12 pick. I wish we had #20 then it would be easier I think lol.

Grant Williams seems like an interesting PF option if we go for a trade back scenario.

https://www.thestepien.com/2019/06/09/draft-notes-grant-williams-chosen-24-40-drafts-second-best-play/

I would like to come out of this draft with a wing or big guard, a center, and a PF, prioritized in that order. NAW and Romeo Langford are my top wing/guard targets. Goga and Claxton are my center targets. I'm adding Grant Williams as a PF to target along with Luka Samanic.

Here are my priorities:

1. Trade pick for allstar player.

2. Trade back in draft for multiple firsts.

3. Take BPA at 12

4. Draft and Stash all 3 picks (don’t like this).

5. Trade pick to solely drop salary (worst move to me).

I like most of these ideas but it would be hard to trade for an allstar calibar player unless we take a bad-ish contract or unless we add in an additional pick. We might can trade 12 for a really good player tho ( which in this draft I think there are plenty so I prolly wouldn't do it)

I DEFINITELY agree with trading BACK. Imo guys like Roby and Mcdaniels are just as good as a guy like Samanic so why not trade back grab him and grab a future first...

I DESPISE draft and stash and I also despise trading to drop salary.

while this article is ostensibly about Grant Williams it's actually a terrific argument for trading down for players based on pick value. I mean this team needs lots of things - physicality, shooting - but one could argue more than anything we need depth. As a small market team how are we going to maintain a competitive edge other than drafting well and deeply (see: Golden State)? I have favorites at #12, but can I tell you that one guy - Rui or Romeo or Bol Bol - is going to be the answer to all our team problems when we might be able to, say, if Boston is out of the Ant Davis sweepstakes and they are willing to swap us #22 + #27 for #12, trade back and pick two guys, say Goga Bitadze plus Grant Williams (or Luka Samanic, or whoever, take your pick)? For a team in our situation the argument for trading back laid out in this article makes a ton of sense.

The problem is that GMs like to emulate a winner... a Rim Runner works in Golden State or Hou surrounded by stellar 3 pt shooters. But a rim runner needs to be surrounded by the right players. I think for the Hornets in particular, unless we're somehow able to land a couple true knockdown shooters, a more versatile player like Bitadze is a better fit. Maxim: the less talent you have on your squad the more versatile each individual needs to be.

That's nice and all, but there really aren't any good ones in this draft so...

doesn't cody count as a rim runner? to me, a rim runner is someone who sets screens and then....runs to the rim.

Yes Cody is a rim runner, and Biz is a defensive specialist, and Frank is an offensive specialist, and Willy is a piece of balsa wood, which is why we need a balanced Center. But as the author points out they're hard to come by. (in this draft he suggests Goga;)
