transition works for him because he moves quick. in the pf slot it would be even better because there would be more opportunities for him to be down the floor on the break if he isn't constantly guarding the rim.

You do have to take in consideration though that the SL players are fighting for any chance they can't get. These are the best 60 players of the past 2 years and are giving all the effort they can.

I wouldn't say these are the best 60 players of the past 2 years. He played against the following bigs: Aaron Baynes, N'Diaye, Dedmon, Carmichael, CJ Leslie, Jeremy Tyler, Jerome Jordan, and Jack Cooley. Hardly even the cream of the 2nd round crop these past two years. I understand your point that these guys are trying hard to win a roster spot but that doesn't exonerate them from their scrubbish nature so you'll have to excuse me if I don't get too excited just yet.

Just realized i wrote that wrong. I meant best 60 of this draft as well as a lot of players from the previous draft. Not really sure why I wrote it the other way lol.

He's actually incredibly entertaining on twitter
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

ESPN has Oladipo and Zeller as the two most likely to win ROTY. Good sign.

Let's not lose sight of the fact that Zeller is just as young as MKG. Our team is as green as they get in the NBA right now. My point is though, there are a lot of things that players do throughout the course of a game that doesn't always show up in the stat box. If zeller is a defensive presence next to Jefferson, that's an added plus that doesn't necessary show up in the nightly stat sheet, as well as the speed he represents at 4.

I have plenty of faith that he will get better as the season goes on, and that he will surprise most people with his basketball IQ and maturity. THAT'S what sets him apart from the rookie class that he belongs to.

Zeller looks pretty good. So far I like him a lot more for where he was picked than MKG. He should make a nice PF into the future.

I was watching some of the videos I had made of Dan Issel when it suddenly hit me that him and Zeller are so alike. Yep, I just compared him to a 70s player.

Okay, summer doldrums, not much basketball news, so how about a Love Story about Cody Zeller! Written journal style by his gal pal (real, or wishful thinking?), 6'4 IU volleyball player, Allie Hildebran.

"How am I cute?" He asked. "Do you see this nose?"
"A, your nose is fine, it's adorable. B, you are such a gentleman is what I meant by cute."
"Well, my parents raised me like that."

Read about the "tallest couple on campus." Off the unintentional comedy charts.

Did you see the Zeller in him? Creative finisher around the rim, steady jumper and can really run up and down the court.
