we need to swarm and attack in the same manner we did the first 2 years under bernie, but even more aggressive.

The Cho/Higgins presser was interesting. They seem confident MKG can fix his shot. Sounds like he was the better 1 on 1 player that day against Beal anyway.

Kudos to them for being so tight lipped and not telling MKG anything before they selected him so that no other teams/ESPN had no idea who were picking.

Pressure D, force turnovers, create havoc, high tempo, RUN RUN RUN!

Arkansas Style 48 minutes of hell

I really hope we do that. Going balls to the wall is going to be so exciting and fans are going to be happy watching anything but crawl it up, bad shot, crawl it back up, bad shot offense.

Kemba/Bismack/MKG is one hell of a culture shift from where we've been the past few years. Take us back to the inaugural Cats teams that would just as soon beat your ass as play a basketball game

We just drafted Corey Brewer. I want the Bobcats to succeed, but I don't like the pick at all. I would have been happier with Beal, Robinson, or Barnes at that pick. Also the fact that we did not make the trade with Cleveland to get 4 and 24 where we apparently would have still been able to get Gilchrist has me upset also.

I'm definitely eagerly anticipating summer league games to see how he looks in a professional setting against better competition.

You don't know that, Washington might have taken him if Cav's picked Beal with the 2nd.

I want the Bobcats to succeed, but I can't defend this pick. It's horrible.

Maybe, but apparently their board was Beal and then Barnes.

I hope he turns into the great glue guy that we need on our way to eastern conference finals appearances, but we are going to need to get a star in the draft next year (Nerlens, Shabazz, or Zeller). Kevin Durant he is not.

I really like MKG and I think his ceiling is Pippen, will he get there? probably not. But a guy who can score on the break, rebound and play great defense. What an awesome wing and with more and more teams trotting out hybrid 4s, he has the strength and athleticism to defend 1-4. Him and Biz are a great foundation for a great defense. I'm excited.

MKG will make his fair share of All Star games, book it!

Although I was really high on Beal, after the Gordon trade it was obvious that MKG was going to be our pick. I had him rated 3rd behind Davis and Beal. MKG is a talented kid with a good motor. He has handles, can slash to the rim, can play defense, and can rebound. All at the highest level. He needs work on his jump shot but that will come in time. Overall I like this pick. IMO, he is easily our best player now. He is just that talented. Welcome to the team, MKG!

What happened the last time Jordan took a scrawny wing who had no offensive game under his tutelage? He turned him into Scottie Pippen. Jordan is going to take Gil under his wing, teach him how to shoot and turn him into the next Pippen. He's going to be a star, book it! Breakfast Club 2.

At first I was disappointed with the pick. Listening to MKG and the FO about why he was the guy, I'm on the Cho Cho Train and MKG Caboose.

I'm made my peace with this pick. Granted - like many of us - I think we could have swung a trade and grabbed another asset (which could have been Moultrie, Wroten, PJ3), but if MKG was truly our #1, then so be it.

I like the fact that he's only 18, and better basketball minds than mine seem very high on his potential for success.

Worst case scenario for MKG is that he is a one dimensional player that could be a lock down defender for us for years. Which is pretty good. Best case....the sky's the limit. If he can get a consistent jump shot and learn to control his dribble when attacking, we could be looking at a star. It's just tough to tell cause he's still 18 years old.

I love the pick. I can´t share the disappointment of some of you. Even if we get an Andre Iguodala or a Gerald Wallace with an improved offense game that would be nice. I doubt he will become a perennial All-Star, but he is one of those guys who is always needed in a good team. In Cho we trust.

Go MKG and Go Bobcats
