yup.

maybe we trade, still plenty of time for trades. I'd like to see a vet on the team like when we had kwame brown. Someone to soak up some minutes and not detract from development of our other guys. Gotta be some guys out there like that.

What are we gonna do with Thomas and Mullens out?

Do we trade, sign an undrafted player or free agent, give the other players more minutes, or what?

I watched Nathan Jawai in a Euro game the other day, wish we could give him another chance.

we could use both of these guys, I think. Livingston maybe less so, but we should give him a shout

What could Livingston really bring with Session and Walker at PG and a lot of 2-3 he won't get a lot of minutes...

Are there still any Terrence Williams fans on this board? I remember a lot of posters on here thought he would be doing stuff like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v5mgpVofz_A) in the NBA.

But seriously, I hope bringing Derrick Brown back is being considered. He's better than Mullens and Taylor anyway.

We definitely need to consider Brown again. T-Will can't play the 4 and we need guys at that position, although I definitely would not be opposed to bringing him in.

What games were you watching? Derrick isn't better than either Mullens or Taylor.

The ones that you haven't been, apparently. I don't care for preseason superstars.

Arinze Onuaku, 6'9" 275# Syracuse

Now that we've seen what Jeff Adrien can do, here's another guy I'd love to see Cho take a look at from the D League (10 Day call-ups begin Jan 10)

Arinze Onuaku is currently posting 14.3 PTS 11.5 REB 1.1 BLK per game in a mere 24.3 minutes per game.

Onuaku is undoubtedly the most skilled rebounder in the NBA D-League. Not only does he haul in more than one-quarter of ALL rebounds available when he is on the floor, but he is equally adept at cleaning the defensive glass and crashing the offensive boards. We often find that many rebounders excel at one or the other. In fact, of the top four defensive rebounders in the NBA D-League according to DREB%, Onuaku is the only one who has an OREB% of greater than 8.7% (of course, Onuaku’s rate is more than 2.5 times this value).

Onuaku is more than just a rebounder, too – he's turned himself into an efficient scorer shooting an impressive eFG% of 56.3% - better than the vast majority of NBA D-League players. His league-leading Player Efficiency Rating (PER) is 27.79. According to this statistic, Onuaku is the league’s most efficient positive contributor by a relatively wide margin. What bodes well for him is that the players with the second- and third-highest PER in the NBA D-League (Chris Douglas-Roberts and Jarvis Varnado) both currently grace NBA rosters.

if we dont immediately add someone with a 10 day contract on the 10th we are not trying because we are cheap. we have an open roster spot, we have injuries, we need help. nothing to lose except money.

This team is so dirty, they need some help. Nah, all they need is Arinze

Get it? Arinze? A rinse? The team is dirty?

I remember Onuaku. All he could do was rebound, literally nothing else at Syracuse. If he's more than a one-trick pony nowadays than sure, why not? We could definitely use the rebounding.

As a avid Big East basketball watcher I remember Onuaku as well. I almost completely forgot about him. Regarding him only being a one-trick pony I'm sure he can score in the paint better than Biyombo right now and I say that as a Biyombo optimist that's starting to sour.

He's also 5 years older than Biz and in the D-league for a reason.

I wasn't saying that Onuaku is better than Biz. I was just making a wise crack that Biz need to improve on making point blank shots in the paint because it's becoming baffling but at least he's catching the ball lately. Pardon my brief frustration.

I feel better about our fanbase when I visit any other forum. Our posters are great
