I'm not stereotyping but I'm willing to bet KeMVP's grimy hustle is appreciated by and inspired by his Bronx heritage.

Grew up in the Bronx, Knicks fan but Walker is my favorite guard in the NBA.

He's underrated overall at defense and offense. He can score and shoot from anywhere and he's gotten better at shooting 3s. He reminds me of Hardaway/Marbury the way he creates and scores.

Respect this man ball handling, he doesn't average 3 turnovers a game and only gives it up like 2.3 per game, which is very low. He would average 7-8 assist per game if he had better teammates.

prime Walker? 22 ppg and 8 assist, 2 steals, shooting % at 44-45...a respectable turnover to assist ratio.

It's only his 2nd season in the league, he's having a better sophomore year than Derrick Rose and Deron Williams.

Not saying he'll reaching that high of level of a prime Rose or Williams, but Walker is definitely on the process of becoming an all star talent and soon to be top 5 PG, believe that.

If Bobcats can draft McLemore, and sign a free agent offensively skilled big man, sign some free agents who can defend, easily a playoff team.

Sign these guys in 2013
Tony Allen
Shawn Marion
Corey Brewer
Andray Blatche/Jefferson/Pekovic

Lineup

PG - Walker/Sessions
SG - McLemore/Allen
SF - Kidd-Gilchrist/Brewer
PF - Marion/Mullens
C - Blatche or Jefferson or Pekovic/Biyombo/Haywood

Undersized, but supreme defense with Allen/Brewer/Marion...veteran leadership added as Mclemore, Walker, and Kidd Gilchrist can progress together. Blatche signing will provide Charlotte with a 7 foot PF/C hybride who can score 16-19 ppg inside and out type game that will stretch the floor for Charlotte and also provide strong rebounding. He's not a 50% FG shooter, shooting 46% right now, but I believe Walker and Blatche would run an awesome pick and roll, and MKG/Marion/Blatche will crash the board really well. Pekovic and Jefferson would be better options but it seems like they have commitments else where.

Thanks for the Bobcats related Kemba praise Jose.

Sad to say the only reason Kemba gets disrespected is because he plays for us, the product we put around this unfortunate rookie (last season) got him off to the worst start (historically) possible and skewed the positive he did on the floor (still arguably our best player last season with Hendo)

I'm glad he's bounced back in a major way.

Also look at all the Kemba bashing last year and noone really says anything about Rivers.

Kemba is better than Lillard also imo, give Kemba Batum, Matthews, Hickson and Aldridge and see how he does ;) similar production on a way inferior team with lightyears better defense and intangibles.

I agree, Kemba has more defense and intangibles and teams won't notice this because of the Bobcats record, but you see Kemba at 6 feet tall being fearless at the rim and even getting blocks and he's averaging 1.9 steals per game. He's not Avery Bradley but Walker's defense has stepped up from last season. Lillard is a great offensive weapon, but Walker is basically out there by himself...no too many guys in Charlotte set good screens like an Aldridge or Jefferies does in Portland, so Walker has to really fight to get a shot off. I've been tuning into Charlotte games to keep an eye on Kemba, Michael and Bismack, I feel like Charlotte has a core right there they can build off and are one superstar away from contender if Kemba, Mike, and Bismack reach their potential before 26-27. They should really hold on to those guys.

Our guys are terrible at playing off ball, Mullens isn't great at setting screens and isn't a pick and roll player, meanwhile Biyombo can't catch any passes comming off of a screen...

Welp. Brooke Lopez is having his best season so he deserves it.

I just hope Kemba makes it in the All-Star next year or the year after. I'm betting by that time his selection won't raise any doubts in the fans of other teams.

Moot point now, but Kyrie is in both games. And...Zeller? I'm a UNC fan and all but, did this game really need 4 Cavs?

Glad it went to Lopez instead of one of the other PGs (DWill, Jennings), so I can respect this decision.

Well whoever did that bet about who was the better PG between Kemba and Knight just won.... Knight will be the Pistons starting SG now.

It should be Brook Lopez. Stern doesn't have to take a guard.

There are too many bigs on the team as it is. Lopez would be the 4th string center.

Looks like they needed that 4th string Center after all.

They haven't announced who's going to be in the Skills Challenge yet, have they?

Kemba should at least get a spot on that. He'd be good in it, with his handle and quickness... I mean, he's going to be there for All-Star Weekend anyway.

To be fair Brandon Jennings may have deserved it over both Walker and Lopez.

You think Jennings deserved it over Kemba?

Jennings: 19/6/3.5 with 2 steals on 41%, 17.5PER and below average defense.
Kemba: 18/6/3.5 with 2 steals on 43%, 19.3PER and average to above average defense.

Only difference is Jennings has better teammates. When Kemba's teammates were actually reliable on offense at the beginning of the year, he was averaging upwards of 7apg.

Its a toss up to me.

Neither Kemba or Jennings deserved to make it over Lopez. Not even close.
