I know Josh Smith has some holes in his game, but he is extremely talented and their is a reason the Hawks have been to the playoffs 5 straight years. He would give us a main face of the franchise and we would Kemba, MKG, and McLemore as a great young supporting core.

I am on the band wagon. too bad it wont happen haha.

I like this, and wasn't Smith the one that middle fingered our crowd in the past? Haha

And the Wolves could throw in a first round pick and we'll send both our Portland and Detroit pick and we'll assume Roy leaves.....

Just no. Wolves wouldnt do that deal at all. They love Shved and Love.

We would have to give them all three of our picks for them.

We are giving them trash in Gordon, Reggie, Hendo and Taylor. Just a bunch of shooting guards. You forget Kahn is in love with point guards and power forwards... not shooting guards.

I think our best bets are JSmove, Eric Gordon, The Jazzy bigs, or Humphries.

I would avoid Granger, Ilyasova, Stephen Jackson, Amare and Gasol.

EG could be a good fit for us at the 2 guard if we could get him without giving up this years pick. We would obviously go big with the pick then like Bennett, Noel, Zeller or Len.

Ben Gordon + Port Pick + Detroit Pick for Eric Gordon.

Or Diop + Detroit Pick + fillers

I know Gordon has had injury history, but I think part of that is he hates his situation in New Orleans.

WOW! Any of those players would be amazing, especially Smith, Jefferson, and Gordon.

Think they'd bite on this if we threw in picks?

Prolly not... you have to think about what Atlanta would be accomplishing. They do not want to take on those contracts for guys who would be riding the pine. If they take on money they either want them playing or expiring. The picks would be a plus, but I think the money is too much.

Also, we dont need Lou Williams with Sessions already here especially not for 5 million for 3 years.

Like i said our best bet is to just give them all our expiring contracts and a few picks. This way they can sign who they want in the offseason while still getting a few picks. Also, hendo and Mully could be decent players for them if they sign them.

Is this about the "assessment" of Bonnell on our players?

@rick_bonnell

If I ranked Bobcats assets, it would be this: 1. Kemba. 2. Sessions. 3. Mullens. 4. Henderson. 5. Kidd-Gilchrist

@liverpooty

@rick_bonnell Looks like a ranking of their best players and not necessarily their best assets.

‏@liverpooty

@rick_bonnell Just speaking about overall potential. I can't see MKG being our fifth best asset so Ill have to disagree with you on that.

I am surprised more people are not onto bonnell about that bone headed comment, I guess everyone is asleep. :D
