Cho should inquire to see what Memphis would be willing to give up since they are currently down to only Nick Calathes as their backup PG, and he's been dismal so far this season (6.2 PER), but Hollinger has gutted that roster so bad that he doesn't have any assets to trade without ruining the Grizzlies future, specifically because Ed Davis is the only player on their roster with legitimate upside

I wouldn't trade Sessions to Memphis if that's the ideal package. He is an attractive trade chip and we could move him to somebody with better assets, not waste it on Jerryd Bayless and a pick that probably won't live up to its value
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere

Random box score I saw that impressed me.

Ish Smith had 8pts, 8ast, 2reb, 1stl in 19 minutes

19 MINUTES

He's also on the starting unit and played an entire game

Well, if you multiply Ish Smith's 19 minutes x 2 that'll equal 38 minutes

If you multiply Ish Smith's 8 assist x 2 that'll equal 16 assist

Now for the main event of what I was trying to say, Kendall Marshall had 17 assist in 39 minutes, making his performance more impressive than Ish Smith's because he sustained that same level of play throughout the full course of a game, don't you agree?

Ish Smith had less talent to work with and I understand your point in saying that he maintained the pace but to me when there is more time you have more opportunity. Smith got 8/8 in 19 mins, meaning he had to create a lot with less time

That Phoenix Suns team is a lot more well rounded then the miscast roste of the Los Angeles Lakers, starters or reserves, but to each his own on their opinion of it. I am more impressed by Marshall's performance, especially since his was a follow up from a 20 points & 15 assist performance

Kendall Marshall has talent, just needed to be in the right system, and D'Antoni's system is a perfect fit. I would not be surprised to see him average 10 assists a game for the rest of the year. I don't expect Nash is coming back. Sadly I think his career's over.

I've always thought that Marshall would make for a great backup PG in the NBA & a good starter for a team platooned with talent everywhere else. He's the prototypical unselfish player that you'd need if you have scorers at every other position. He's not going to lead the current Lakers team anywhere, but hopefully they'll hang onto him once Kobe returns & they add more talent via free-agency during the offseason

Jeff Teague, 5-for-15 shooting, 7 turnovers, 5 assist.

cavs get deng. i wonder who they gave up. that might actually be a good ge--holy ****, they gave up 3 picks and the right to swap picks in 2015, and bynum. they had better believe in their draft picks!

nba.com wrote: In exchange for Deng, the Cavs send Chicago Bynum, Cleveland’s right to the Sacramento King’s first round draft pick conveyed in a June 30, 2011 deal, the right for Chicago to swap its own 2015 first round draft pick with the Cavs own 2015 first round draft pick (only in the case that the Cleveland 2015 first round draft pick is between 15 and 30) and the Portland Trail Blazer’s 2015 and 2016 second round draft picks acquired from the Trail Blazers via 2013 draft night trade.

oh, just 2 2nd rounders and somebody else's 1st rounder. that is like 7 pennies for a dime. ok i'm done editing this post now.

I won't be surprised in the least if Thibodeau leaves after this season. He isn't for tanking, at all.

the cavs overall strategy is confusing as all hell. just what are the players on that roster supposed to do together?

I know that the Bulls are going to wave Andrew Bynum and save money, but if the asking price for Luol was pretty much a first, two seconds, I bet we could have got him. Since the Bulls look like they're blowing it up, we could have offered young guys and a first rounder. Jeff Taylor + Cody Zeller + Portland's 1st for Luol? I know this is hypothetical but damn. Bet they would have bitten.

(And just to clarify. in this hypothetical scenario I would start MKG at the 2 and have Hendo as a 6th man).
The Lamb flock's vision has come true.

Deng can't save the Cavs.
