Mo is so much better at playing basketball than Brian Roberts. Why didn't we just sign him before the season started?

I suspect that Brian Roberts was a signing for Cliff. Since Roberts had prior familiarity with Cliff's system I'm betting they assumed that he would get up to speed faster & give them more spacing.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Thank you for telling me that. I think Cliff is a solid coach, but if he advocates for players like Brian Roberts he isn't seeing the bigger picture.

I have the same feeling about Marv who was the best stretch 4 available after McBob went ring chasing and he has said recently he was the one who wanted Lance the most.
So from now on, dont listen to Cliffs ideas for FA signings.

Re: Welcome to Charlotte Mo Williams
We all knew he was an upgrade over Roberts but this is ridiculous. This system is good for him and obviously he is very good for Cliff's system. I think he's the floor leader Cliff has been missing since McRoberts. The veteran knows how to translate coaching schemes. I believe he'd make a great coach someday if he wants to do that.

I am going to be extremely pissed if we let Mo walk and it isn't because of the salary cap. Biz and Mo should be priorities number 1 and 2 this summer. Lock him up for 2-3 years.

I think the key is letting Al walk. If he opts out we can keep both but if not Mo might leave.

If you had to choose between Biz or Mo this summer, who would you pick?

No real reason we should have to choose but good question. I'd probably go with Biz, just because I think we can get him on a long term deal for cheap and he's still so young.

Biz.
Mo is great and all, but he isn't keeping this up. I'm choosing a lockdown defensive starting center over a scoring backup point guard every day. We could get a dude like Jarrett Jack or even Nate Robinson to do the majority of what Mo is doing.
Mo is also 10 years older than Biz and isn't getting younger.

Biz because we are closer to needing a center than PG once Kemba is back. Also due to Bird rights Biz is easier to sign. I would choose Mo over Al though. We just have nobody at center after Al and as bad as Roberts has been he is better than Max.

Al and Mo are buddies. If anything I'd worry that turning away Al when he wants to stay could jeopardize Mo.
