And I'm **** pissed if this is all we get from Portland. I've been a Vonleh fan for years.

When you have a coach that can't develop players, you have to make moves like this.

That said, I like Batum.
Humble yourself.

I don't honk Cho is done yet and have less faith that we stay at 9. Maybe MKG + 9 to move up for Hezonja

Kemba - Hezonja - Batum - Zeller -Jefferson

Or just MKG for Hezonja straight up.

Yeah, I might have been giving away a bit much on that one. MKG to move up for Hezonja and then WCS at 9.

The Portland board hates the trade as well. Many of them actually think they should have gotten our 9 pick as well. So it sounds like both fan bases are pretty upset. Maybe that means its a reasonable deal.

Nic can play SG just a fyi. He can play the four in small ball lineups as well, especially probably in the east. I know you guys are mad, I don't think anyone is really happy with the trade on either side, but Nic did have a down year due to fatigue and injury. But his injuries are recovering and he isn't doing as much with France this year. He has good handles, a good three point shooter, can defend four positions (five if the other team is going small too), creates for himself and others and is nice guy.

Now you're talking. MKG + 9 and we should be talking Russell. Never happen but I think Hezonja for MKG is good value.

Batum from 2013-14 shows up and we draft someone good, BEST CASE SCENARIO we get the 7th seed this season. And if Nicolas plays well, we're going to have to sign him to a big deal. If he plays like he did this season or doesn't work with MKG, it means we just gave up our most promising prospect and Hendo for one year of Batum. And even then, I'm not sure he resigns with us.

This is the move that gets GMs fired. Tbh, I want both Cliff and Cho gone if we don't make playoffs. 2 trades in a row that we **** lost. At least get a pick or McCollum?

Watch this be the Vucevic trade all over again . Player with a lot of potential , but very raw and has an old school stubborn coach who won't give him a chance . Gets traded for an overrated player and gets a chance and now is one of the best players at his position. Well hopefully after we don't make the playoffs next year we have a real Philly(well not as bad) rebuild and build a championship caliber squad.

Vonleh wasn't that good. Cho made the dump at the right time.

If we traded the guy with the highest ceiling (Vonleh) on the entire roster for Batum on the final year of his deal, then fire Cho and Cliff right now. Stuff like this makes Charlotte a joke in people's eyes

If they pick Kaminsky and Tokoto (UNC guy) and retain Williams and Biyombo

Walker-Williams-Roberts
Batum-Lamb-Daniels
MKG-Hairston-Tokoto
Zeller-Kaminsky-Williams
Jefferson-Biyombo-Hawes

Jeremy Lamb?

He has more potential than any wing we're mocked to take aside from Hezonja. So I don't mind the trade. But come on, Cho is making deals like a confused 15-year-old playing MyGM on hall of fame.

If we're gonna trade mkg for something draft related, the only thing I would want in return is a top 3 pick. Otherwise I would def keep him.
