Wow Cliff put a rocket up our bench.

NSJ, Leaky, Mensah, Bailey, McGowens and Thor all DNP- coaches decision.

To be fair only Nick Smith looks like an NBA player out of that group, Bailey unproven.

He seems like a really good vet that Melo can learn from. Melo has the tools, Micic knows how to manage the game.

It's about time we had an MVP caliber player on this team. Vasilije Micic.

If you like Mcic you will love Topic. Serbia is cranking out unselfish players. It's infectious just as hero ball was under Terry.

Yep - again, sorta-Grizz, but two things seem certain. Micic is a quality PG - excellent debut. Def locked up backup role with this game (and perhaps starting role until Ball gets back). Grant was what I hoped - alone likely equal in value to PJ (for us, anyway). His minutes on D against JJ were super solid. Tough and vocal - always in right place. Add in a 1st and Curry?

Great debut by all the newbies.

EDIT - and watchable basketball! It feels like ages.

Yeah a few weeks ago I was liking the idea of grabbing Topic because of our disastrous PG rotation.

It's too bad his injury has slowed down his scouting.

spewing i missed this one, I just knew Micic would come good when released, Crash was my favourite all time Horncat, still think he got robbed in the dunk contest and am glad Charlotte looks like an NBA team again.

No way Mitch is back IMO. Clifford could get a pass for one more season if the guys really like him as much as they say. But if the new regime can find a quality coaching candidate I think Cliff is retired too.

So glad to get a win again and look like a competent team. Shot above 50% from the field and from 3, Micic/Mann/Grant Williams/Curry looked good in their debuts and Miles and Miller were good as usual.

It's a double-digit win if Cody Martin just held the ball for 20 seconds and yeah, this is the first team to never get a double-digit win but at this rate I'll just take a win.

He's on my Mount Rushmore with Kemba, Reggie Miller and Dell Curry.

It is striking how much better the overall level of play looked this game. Even guys like Bertans and Seth just look so much more intuitive and like they belong on the floor.
