Will never forget how enthused and emotional he was when he was drafted by us. Seems like a great kid and hope he's able to carve out a career playing ball somewhere. He had his moments but just outmatched most nights in the NBA.

Think he was a good prospect and eventually a consummate pro, just too undersized and could never quite figure out how to get the ball in the hoop at the NBA level. 2024 draft goin down in ignominy for sure.

However he is a champion and his Summer League performance will live in history. Rest now brother, we have the watch. And I’ll see you in Vallhalla

Kinda sucks, seemed like a good kid. Depth at his role has increased a lot since he was drafted, probably due to give someone else a shot at another position of need.

Team cut Dimwiddie because they were still trying to believe in the draft pick they selected. Just like they were drinking the cool aid on Mann when they signed him to that bad contract.

Dinwiddie was cut to keep Connaughton, no? I would think Peterson detracters would be pleased with cutting a draft pick because it indicates willingness to move on from a selection.

Dinwiddie has nothing to do with KJ, who has been a two-way contract the whole team and doesn't count towards the 15 man roster.

Dinwiddie was probably supposed to make the team over Pat C, but the team realized they loved him, and Spencer Dinwiddie is ... well ... Spencer Dinwiddie.

The cut dinwiddie instead of pat because they believed in Sexton, Mann, and KJ to hold down the backup pg spot. Dinwiddie was the only real backup pg on the roster.

Keeping Pat did nothing for us. Coach Lee made another boneheaded move keeping his buddy instead of considering the real needs of this team. That is why we are in 10th place and the suck ass pistons are near tje top.

So we're in 10th because we kept Pat instead of Dinwiddie, who is not currently on an NBA roster. Got it.

Definitely worth talking about the huge loss of letting Dinwiddie go. He went on to dominate in Munich to highlight what Charlotte missed out on.

Spencer Dinwiddie has played for FC Bayern Munich in the 2025–26 season, appearing in 11 games across European competitions (EuroLeague, G-BBL, German Cup) as of February 7, 2026.
Recent Stats with Bayern Munich:

Points: 11.7 per game
Rebounds: 2.0 per game
Assists: 2.9 per game
Turnovers: 2.5 per game
Minutes: 23.1 per game
Field Goal Percentage: 38.9%
Three-Point Percentage: 30.2%
Free Throw Percentage: 81.3%

No wonder all NBA teams are now lining up to sign this game changing superstar. What a bunch idiots to pick another player over this 32 year old.
