We gave this game away. Got it to 1pt multiple times and we never got over the hump. And as I type this, Melo fouls out.

If LaMelo got Traes whistle he’d average 35 ppg this year

I knew Grant would choke that FT.

Grant nets a 3 then quickly rushes to meet Jalen Johnson at half court for a senseless foul.

Well, so far through 2 games I think this has been a positive start to the season. Big comeback in Houston and we should've won this too if we weren't so sloppy.

that wasn't a great option by Mann trying to force it either.

I'm convinced Micic is useless but Grant is convincing me he's really bad as a decision maker out there.

Micic has been the biggest disappointment for me, I genuinely thought we were set at point guard.

Yeah Grant and Micic are both playing destructive basketball right now. They're not mentally in it and both showed up in very poor physical condition.

They took an extra long vacation.

One silver lining is Miles seems to be hitting his stride. First game he was playing out of the flow of the game. Now he's seeing the floor better and making good decisions, finishing plays.

If Miles plays like he did tonight (27 points), with LaMelo playing like a star and while Brandon Miller is itching to break out, I think we look good. Mann looks really good with anyone sharing the floor with him.

Wow, Mann shot 6-19 from the field.

His shot was not falling tonight.

Grant is at least a phenomenal communicator on defense and plays hard. Micic is playing hard, but damn. I know he was never chiseled but even his arms look flabby. And it's really not even that it's his decision making. Lamelo had 10 turnovers tonight but also could have had a 40 5 5 game if not more.

Reminds me of Nic after he came back from the 2016 Olympics. Basketball gods hate us.

Hawks should have went with a defensive role playing type next Trae before, the 2 point guard thing was silly.

I think Grant is looking immobile out there.

So he's shrinking space on the floor, big time.

He's very slow like Micic. These guys are too slow to keep pace out there.

I think Grant could give Sean May a run for his money in a hotdog eating contest.

But Micic wins the beer chugging competition hands down.

First place, in something at least.
