Mann is now our 3rd best player.

Grant is just dumb, he's been doing stupid stuff all season and we haven't even played 10 games yet. This guy was supposed to be our leader smh

BS foul bait by Tatum, followed by a clear missed foul on Mann, followed by a tech on the coach for defending his player, followed by Tatum pushing Melo to the ground on the rebound, immediately led to Grant laying him out.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm okay with the hard foul. Somebody has to make a statement that the refs directly caused the game to fall apart. It was over well before that point.

after that crap, I hope we come out tomorrow with a true desire to win. Refs owe us big but will reward a couple tacky calls in the first to "make it even".

I didn't expect to beat the Celtics so the game comes down to how the Hornets lost.

This wasn't a blowout. I'm feeling intrigued what the team can do with LaMelo & Mann when Miller rejoins them tomorrow night, hopefully.

Hated the end but the talent here is blinding with Mann, LaMelo & Miller. And baby brother Tidjane hit two threes. I noticed when I saw Mark on the bench he's alive. So that's good too.

Mixed feelings. Loved the fight we showed to hang around until the end, but that ending was kinda deflating.

How we feeling about Melo's D? Brown figured out pretty fast that he could force the switch then just ISO Melo and get to the rack. Felt like we should have recognized that and stopped that switch. Not like we needed to worry about Brown punishing us for going under the screen, guess he forgot how to shoot 3s.

Maybe this game gets Miller to suit up. Got a feeling we can go toe to toe with this team if we have Miller.

They cut to Lee after Melo picked up the 5th and it looked like he was telling them to switch the Melo ball screens.

There is a saying in football, the team that wins does the teaching and the team that loses does the learning. This game felt like the type of experience we can learn and grow from.

Miles Bridges has to give me more than 5-16 and 2-10 from 3 or his ass is getting traded at the deadline.

Salaun has no buisness being in a game with other players of this skill level and the game having this intensity level but he plays with heart and seems to feed off the emotion of the moment. That can get you a long way in sports when you are 6'8" with tree trunk leggs.

LaMelo did everything I want from him.

Mann was great.

35 ft for the Celtics and 12 for the Hornets is a reflection of the respect the Celtics have earned by winning the championship.

We did not do enough to beat them tonight. Maybe with a healthy B. Miller, M. Willams we have the peices on the roster to make a push.

This is the type of game where we are going to lose every time because the Celtics slow it down and just bang into our guys 5 times on the possession until the Refs call a foul. It is obvious they had no intention of actually playing basketball and just wanted the refs to give them the game... and the Refs say it's Charlotte so whatever, they aren't getting half those weak whistles in a playoff game vs Bucks or Heat. Just the truth.

There is no way if that is Luka getting switched on Tatum/Brown every play the refs are calling the 5th and 6th foul on him.

Just in the 4th quarter Celtics shot 22 FTA to our 3 FTA... jeezz wonder why our players are frustrated.

Yeah, Miles looks less mobile than last season and more limited attacking the rim. He's also not converting wide open threes.

He surrendered an empty possession while Mann was on a streak where Celtics had no answer on defense, so Tatum played hero ball on offense. It was hurting the Celtics because Tatum went cold.

So what does Miles do while Mann is hot? He goes iso and looks off Mann the whole possession, pounds the crap out of the ball and deflates any momentum generated by Tre.

I can say, if Mann fulfills his early promise and progress, continues to get better, while Miles stagnates or slightly regresses, Mann definitely becomes the Hornets third option closing games.

LaMelo & Mann run the offense right now. And Miller is more of a pure scorer than Miles.

Miles becomes an overpaid player as a 4th option on a fringe playoff team.

It's early, but that's where it looks like we're heading.

Mann seems capable of getting anywhere he wants on the floor while Miles really struggles to create any separation anymore.

Miles should stick to bully ball if he wants to hold his place.

Mann is rising.

30 mill a year as a 3rd or 4th option is the going rate these days on most teams. I think Miles will be fine. I also think Mann is going to win 6th man of the year if we can be respectable.

30 million for a 4th option seems expensive for any small market team not yet established as a playoff team.

That's true. But I think Miles will get it together. If not his contract is only 3 years. He still produces.

So you guys think it'll be a closer game tomorrow?

Both teams probably going to come out pissed.

I think we’ll come out strong with Miller back but the refs will come together and overcome adversity with another big push in the 4th. It’ll be a tough rematch

It was a close game until about what 5 mins to go? Overall was happy with how we played, just have to hope we close the game better.
