This. We’re contorting ourselves to make up for our lack of size. Just because Diabate is having some games does not mean we’re not being taken advantage of.

Im about to watch Cooper Flagg play and hopefully that makes me feel better. This team better get healthy quick or we will be in the Flagg sweepstakes.

It’s alright, we’re going to institute the triangle system and all these issues will be gone by next game. It’s not a talent issue. We just need Tre and Miles back right guys……

Anyway that was the most predictable boring game in a long time. Sorry to everyone else who sat through that. This team is not good

Nothing short of embarrassing.

Jeff - you made the roster worse. Green is just a straight up failure of a trade. He runs cardio, nothing else.

Tidjane is at least 2 years from being even playable, let alone below average, let alone decent.

Lee continuing to start Taj is hilarious. As is the refusal to play NSJ. We have gotten worse, despite LaMelo playing like an absolute superstar. Concerning.

Anyone who thinks our lack of center depth doesn’t impact every other play is kidding themselves.

Buddy Im with calls him Melo Ball Hog.

I mean off the top of my head anyone other than Melo can't currently create their own shot other than Mann and he was out. I found it commendable how he tried. He can only do so much. His passing can only do so much when you get a guy a wide open look but never converts. Can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink.

Ive seen you troll us on the GB as well. PJ is hurt and has been dog water this year. Grant gives us leadership and a vet presence we sorely needed. TJ yeah he might be 2 years away but he didn't start tonight.

Granted, my game mates were Magic fans and had nicknames for everyone. Sloppy Joe for Joe Ingles was my personal favorite. I get that Melo does what he needs to do and has been great at it, but I also get that a bunch of guys standing around the perimeter while one guy dribbles back and forth around screens is not an offense that is going to work. When you say that no one other than Melo can get off their own shot and it seems our offense is reliant on guys 'getting their own' and if there's only one guy that can 'get his own' maybe this isn't the offense we should be running. This - without a center.

When we're missing Miles and Mann, and Miller can't make a shot to save his life, we're gonna have a bad time.

Melo played very well and it didn't matter at all.

Think it says all we need to know about how Lee views Micic that he tried to play a lineup of Cody - Green - Seth - Salaun - Diabate before he gave up and put Micic in.

The turnover fest in the 3rd quarter really did us in though. We already had scoring issues, but can't score when you keep giving them the ball.

The biggest meta issue I had with this game though is Brandon still really struggling to create off the dribble. He does not look comfortable in ISO situations. That's going to be a major limiter of his and our success until he gets that sorted out. I get sometimes shots won't fall, but he has got to tighten that handle.

Brilliant minds on GB took all of 2 minutes to start calling LaMelo empty calories  just to salt the wound watching him try and carry this absolute **** roster on his back. Meanwhile these guys can’t go 2 seconds without traveling, charging, dropping the ball out of bounds, falling over for no reason, bricking every shot close and far

I’m actually concerned for the first time that we are going to start seeing the trade Melo to LA stuff start to get some actual traction for real. This franchise isn’t good enough for a healthy LaMelo

Checking the boxscore and I see Seth with just 5 minutes played. Didn't expect that with Mann out. He's on his way out of the rotation.

Coach was giving Micic another shot, as he can actually drive into the paint and create some movement.
didn't help though as it still ended in a turnover/bad shot.

Micic just looks so, so bad. I figure it's a mystery we may hear about at some point. Still looks fat and brain addled. There's a story there. Agree - the longtime fear with Miller is he would never be a guy that's going to create off the dribble. Us lazing into handing the ball off to him and Melo and letting one of them create their own shot has been a disaster. The Magic are a very good defensive team, however. Melo pulled some rabbits out of his hat - Miller was stifled.

Good post. I can agree with that.

BTW - tiny, tiny thing. During warmups - pre-game, halftime, etc. - Salaun was the last one to leave. When everyone left for the bench, he always wanted to hoist up an extra three or three. Small thing, but something I noticed.

I'm actually not worried about him at all. His defense is solid, he hits the boards, and I thought he made a couple really nice passes tonight. He's learning and growing and I'm still excited about what he can become.
