Wouldn't be surprised if the injury fairy struck again and injured both Cody Zeller & Marvin Williams simultaneously to force Clifford to play Noah Vonleh meaningful minutes. So far this season, injuries have made us better through virtue rather than worse

16 min in the blowout win at Denver. He had 10 pts 7 reb and 2 blocks. His only other double digit min games were 12 in a blowout loss to Atl and 10 min in a win vs Tor.

I will say he does look a little bit lost out there at times. He doesn't exactly pass the eye test, but he is still able to make a lot of positive things happen, hence his 15.39 per. He needs to see some burn to get more comfortable though.

I have been noticing Marvin's poor defense lately. He can't guard bigger guys like Moose in the post. He can't stay with quicker guys off the bounce. Marvin Williams is really a tweener in the sense he can't guard the Sf or PF position. We don't have much to lose by tring Vonleh instead at this point.

Thanks. That's a damn shame. Haven't even got a chance even when our whole team has been injured.

Vonleh has All-Star talent I really think with a healthy offseason he may be a starter next season.

I wish we threw Vonleh into the fire with a consistent 15-20 like we did Zeller last year. I'm all for grooming a player and letting him develop slow but I don't know about basically DNPing him throughout the whole year helping him. I could understand if Zeller and Marv were playing above average but they both kinda stinking it up.

I have no doubt if we had another head coach that he would be starting. Literally any head coach.

I love Hendo's reaction. I can only imagine what it would be like for Vonleh to actually hit a game-winner and whip out that dance. Cliff would not be amused, but he would be a social media hero for a day.

A legit stretch 4 with rim blocking potential. I can't wait until Vonleh is in the rotation, flaws & all, because the skill sets are there unlike some others

Vonleh is from Boston. Clifford needs to let him play tonight.

Really don't understand though. Kid has shown signs in very limited playing time. Has made some good defensive plays, seems to be a good rebounder, and has the ability to stretch the floor which is something Cliff has been begging for.

He makes mistakes. Cliff hates mistakes more than he appreciates players making good plays.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Vonleh looks like a lost puppy in a department store on offense and defense.

Is the idea of the video that he beat Hendo in a three-point contest?

if so then it's hilarious.

I would say that despite making some mistakes and being a little hyper he could provide more at certain times than Maxiell. When Max is clearly to short or slow we need to start letting Noah play in those spots. He could have helped against OKC and McGary.

Now this point is about to become irrelevant as Biz will be back and Max won't have to play.

I expect Vonleh to look so good next year after going through a full training camp that Clifford will look even more dumb.
