I definitely believe there's a scenario where he becomes a very good defensive forward capable of guarding 3-5. Like a Jarred Vanderbilt type, if things go well for him. The tools are there and we've seen flashes but not consistently enough. Offensively he's really nothing, just stands in the corner and fires a very low amount wide open threes, but he's long and athletic and should be a decent off ball cutter.jbk1234 wrote:So the Cavs signed Thor to a two-way. He's not great (or even good) by any stretch, but there's utility in having someone both long and quick enough that can stay with smaller bigs and bigger wings, even if he's not a lockdown guy or a contributor on offense. I personally would've given him his 4th year and kept him as a deep bench player, since he's still the age of a college senior. But he's not someone I'd lose a ton of sleep over.
