I definitely believe there's a scenario where he becomes a very good defensive forward capable of guarding 3-5. Like a Jarred Vanderbilt type, if things go well for him. The tools are there and we've seen flashes but not consistently enough. Offensively he's really nothing, just stands in the corner and fires a very low amount wide open threes, but he's long and athletic and should be a decent off ball cutter.

He's not great (or even good) by any stretch, but there's utility in having someone both long and quick enough that can stay with smaller bigs and bigger wings, even if he's not a lockdown guy or a contributor on offense. I personally would've given him his 4th year and kept him as a deep bench player, since he's still the age of a college senior. But he's not someone I'd lose a ton of sleep over.

I don't think that footage of Mark dunking is current. That definitely looks like training camp footage from perhaps last year. Training camp hasn't started yet so there wouldn't have been footage like that of everyone in the gym

The Mark dunk is definitely last year, you can see Gordo jogging down court in the background.

That being said, I'm remaining as optimistic as possible that he can recover and show us what he can do this year. He certainly had enough time off to recover unless it's a permanently debilitating injury.

This is prime season for Hornets optimism. Mark will be healthy! Melo will make everyone eat their words and be an all-star! Brandon Miller will put the league on notice! Salaun is baby Giannis! Charles Lee was the brains behind Boston's title run all along!

Reality won't be ruining my good time until November, as is tradition.

One thing is for certain, the Hornets will win more games than the Panthers.

Nice but show us a photo of Mark Williams that has him actually playing ball.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

This is what Mark Williams playing hoops reminds me of...

I must admit I'm starting to get excited for the new season mainly I think because of the new coaching, I'm hoping Coach Lee brings his winning mentality and it spreads throughout the team.

We just need a season free of big injuries, Ball needs to come back and have a season where he doesn't reagrivate his ankles and Mark also with his back.

I'm looking forward to see how our team is going to evolve, who's going to step up and be the leader, who's going to be the go to guy.

Hopefully at the end of the season we're not looking forward to the draft lottery which means we've fingers crossed made the play offs

He talked about being big on Miller, LaMello, and Mark. That quote doesn't capture the gist of the segment.

Just heard miles rap on bleacher report.

Someone in the organization needs to pull him aside and tell him thug life and the nba don't mix. That crap was cringe and gross.

This is pretty cool. Its easy to root for this dude after all hes been through. Not that they necessarily needed any more injury prone guys, but its a good opportunity for him regardless.

yeah they've been trying to manifest that into reality since the season ended. he's a cheap solid backup big, but they don't have much to offer in exchange
