That was a disappointing game from Maryland's standpoint. They really should have gotten Len the ball more and try to wrack up more fouls on Plumlee. Plumlee on the bench would have given them a chance to get in that game. They really did a poor job of finding Len in that game. He struggled a bit with Plumlee who is smaller, which is a really worrying trend. I really don't see Len playing D any better than Mullens right now.

Plumlee had a pretty good game and I wouldn't mind nabbing him with the Portland pick if we go small with ours, even though he's a serviceable bench big at best.

I thought it was unfair to expect Nerlens Noel to live up to what Anthony Davis did last year defensively but he's currently on pace to possibly break Davis' single season blocks record. Not to mention that Noel is averaging nearly 3 steals per game on pace to break Rajon Rondo's single season steals record. Queue the wow :o

Yeah, I'm impressed with Noel. If he has a good tourney he needs to be our target. That would set us up perfectly for winning the Paker/Wiggins draft. It fits too perfectly to not work.

Am I the only person that try to watch Kansas basketball to see what's the hype around Ben McLemore and always come away with the impression that he's 3rd fiddle to Travis Releford and Jeff Withey?

And once again scored more than both of them, while taking less shots. His efficiency is ridiculous, and his potential is limitless.

Yeah he still finished with 18 points on only 10 shots. 50% from the floor, 3-5 from three, 5-5 from the FT line. Plus 7 rebounds and an assist.

He's a team player, he doesn't assert himself until he needs to. He's shined in those situations where the team needs him to step up. He's allowing the upperclassmen to do what they need to do while still playing well. They ARE 18-1 now, by the way.

I still want a big but I'd be happy with either McLemore or Shabazz.

Shabazz Muhammad - 18 points (8 for 15 shooting), 2 rebounds, 2 assist

Ben McLemore - 18 points (5 for 10 shooting), 7 rebounds, 1 assist

Yes, and Mclemore doesn't force things, he plays within the system. His athleticism is also 10x what Shabazz's ever will be. Those two things put him a level above Bazz. Hate on him all you want, Mclemore is just a better prospect.

I didn't post that to hate on McLemore, just to keep others who didn't watch the game or didn't feel like looking up the box score updated on how the top prospects performed today. I posted the :box: for a reason. It was a joke, meaning that I was throwing jabs. Get a grip and stop being so sensitive.

People are saying this draft may not be that good but this draft is tailored for the Bobcats/Hornets. McLemore and Shabazz are the two we need to look at with Noel and Zeller right behind. These are the top 4 players in this years draft and all 4 fill a need for this team.

And we're guaranteed at least one!!!

House money in this draft. I agree we're virtually guaranteed Shabazz or McLemore even if we inexplicably fall to 3 in the draft lottery after finishing with the worst record.

The Cavs have Irving and Waiters in their backcourt and the Wiz have Wall and Beal. I think either team would prefer Noel up front over Shabazz at SF.

CAVS-Shabazz

New Orleans also has Eric Gordon in their backcourt. I guess they could still draft a guard and look to move him though.

WAS, Bazz or Noel
CLE, Bazz, Zeller or Noel
NOLA, Bazz, Zeller or Noel

Probably Bazz or McLemore falls to Charlotte.

I'd take Bennett over Zeller.

In some defense of Bazz, he doesn't really have a system to play within. UCLA is a much bigger disorganized mess than Kansas which is easily one of the deepest and better coached teams in the country. UCLA was a tire fire against Arizona St, made worse by the fact they were down a Wear twin and had to play freshman Anthony Parker in his stead.
