i feel like the improvement happened this past offseason. he's way better than last year. still misses a few, but people don't try to draw broad conclusions from everybody's turnovers, mostly just biyombo.

i think having a more simplified role greatly helped biz on offense. now he pretty much only touches it when it is about to dunk. thats a good thing. prev two coaches had him doing dribble hand offs 20 feet from the rim and posting up occasionally. our pgs (outside of ridnour's first few games) also have a better idea of what biz can and cant do on offense. they usually only throw it to him when its an easy catch.

i do agree with the GB about biz not being the next ben wallace. i've always felt that is an unrealistic goal. thats like saying:
every tall pg will be the next magic
every euro 7fter who can shoot will be the next dirk
every african center with good footwork will be the next hakeem
every athletic shooting guard with a nice stroke will be the next ray allen
... every center who is great at blocking shots and rebounding and gives you nothing on offense will be the next ben wallace

seriously Q C ruined that biz thread by trying to claim biz is on track to become ben wallace. thats all the ammo the GB needed. game over.

Shelden Williams appropriately is playing in China and can't compete with Biz for that title.

That thread made me want to deep fry my eyeballs.

Glad I'm banned from the GB because I would've said more stuff to those idiots to get myself banned anyway.

my guess is biz would be drafted around 15 if he was in the 2014 draft.

here's another hypothetical question. management tells cho they only have enough money to resign one of biz or zeller. the other will be traded/sent to free agency. who would you keep?

hmmmmm tough question...i feel like i would keep Zeller because he can score and is a pretty good defender and rebounder whereas Biz cant score at all

Not really a tough question for me, I would keep Bismack Biyombo without hesitation if that was the ultimatum

Zeller scores almost exactly the same way Biz does, garbage dunks.

right now yes but at least he can catch the ball and he can score in more ways than just dunking

...and if they wanted to experiment a project on turning a big into a jump shooter, they should've tried it with Biyombo too. I actually have more faith in Biyombo making a elbow jump shot than Zeller. I really wished they would've ramped up Biyombo's development, because as of now it appears that they are limiting him, which I don't necessarily have a problem with, because hopefully that means they are developing him slow, but the discerning part lies that they want Zeller to try things that are beyond his limits. Zeller has been a much better player lately though now that he's deserting the jump shot, but it's essentially making and taking shots that Biyombo finish with a higher percentage at

his wingspan isn't a good argument there are plenty of star PF's with short wingspans (Lee,Griffin and Love all have short wingspans)

Them 3 players are/have been all stars. They can finish in the paint with short arms, they have the skill to do so. I don't know about Z-Rex though, right now he just hasn't shown any ability or skill to finish in the paint save for a few putback dunks.

its because he isn't strong enough yet that can be fixed easily in the off season

I'd say Biz goes 8-10.

As much of a Zeller fan as I am, Cho should take Biyombo everyday and twice on Sundays.

He is seven feet tall and 240 lbs. Does he need to bulk up like Pekovic to keep from getting pushed around? To me, thinking Zeller will ever be able to bang in the paint is like thinking Biz will become a ball catching machine.
