Wonder what the pistons would give us to take Josh Smith.

To many years left on that terrible contract and we are trying to win now. Having him in the game is a negative and benching him for his dumb play is a disaster to chemistry.

I wonder what 6ers would want for Thad Young?

Their tank is set and they don't really need the salary dump.

I wonder if we will take a risk on a Eric Gordon or Josh Smith if we miss out on all big free agents.

Ugh, Thad Young was one of the worst rim protecting PFs in the league last year. Him and Al in the same lineup, might as well have velvet ropes to the basket put up.

I hope we don't go after any of those guys. They are all very bad pickups for our team. Gordon can barely stay healthy for any stretch and Smith is a moron on the court. Young can't defend any position. If we go after a salary dump try to get something for taking on Lin who at least is helpful and only one year.

We have outgrown his skillset however and if we could trade him for some kind of asset, it would be probably wise to do so.

Hendo doesn't have negative value imo, it's just as neutral as it gets.

Blasphemy. Hendo makes the basketball gods cry whenever he takes midrange fadeaways and kills ball movement by needing a whole acre of space to change direction with his dribble.

No he is not but he is still be served as a bench guard or a 5th option on a team with better ball handlers than we have.

Yeah, I would be way more open if it was 2 years left.

If he would buy in, then he might be ok, but I just struggle with him not understanding the type player he should be.

Unless we start biz, I think we might be pretty horrendous defending the basket anyway.

The one real positive that Zzzeller brings to the starting lineup is that he can get those hustle boards that Al is way too slow/earthbound to go after.

If Stephenson decides to stay at Indiana, we could probably get Scola for nothing.

Maybe that dust chip contract of Gee's.

I would like him for insurance at Pf.

The Houston Rockets are working towards completing a trade of Jeremy Lin in order to create cap space now that LeBron James has decided to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Rockets would like to sign Chris Bosh to a max offer sheet.

Sam Amick of USA Today reports Bosh is still weighing whether or not sign with the Rockets.

We already informed Haywood that we traded him. This is complete garbage if they back out, what are we supposed to do with Powell and Haywood now that they know we didn't want them?
Who I woulda took:
2023: Miller | 2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: MPJ | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell 10m

There apparently reports Cavs now want to send Alonzo Gee to NO. I haven't been able to reach anyone from Hornets for comment.

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell 7m

Hornets and Cavs agreed on draft night to send Brendan Haywood and Dwight Powell to CLE for Gee's unguaranteed contract.

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell 8m

Hornets went so far as to inform Haywood of the deal day after the draft.

talk about "fake trades". wow, this is interesting.

Pretty ridiculous for Cavs to back out of a verbal agreement.

Colin Hoggard ‏@ColinWFNZ 17m

Or.. did @ESPNSteinLine read Hornets and think New Orleans? After all we did have the Bobcat slip before?
