Yeap.

You are kidding - right?

His most frequent comparison is Ibaka, who is hardly an offensive post player.

I'm not kidding. I've been following him since mid January and although he doesn't get major minutes for Fuenlabrada, from what i've seen of him when he is on the court, there's not much i can find room to criticise him for.

His footwork, particularly in the low post, is really well developed at his age, which is very rare to find in big men these days. He has unbelieveable hands and he can finish with either hand, left, right.

The Ibaka comparison is fair, but it would be more like. Ibaka / Al Jefferson.

He's supposed to play this Sat at the Nike Hoop Summit. Will be interesting to see how he does there since that's where Kanter made his name last year.

I can understand Minnesota taking Williams because of his talent.

But they would end up with a glut of forwards.

Edit: Just noticed it has them taking Bitchsmack MyBimbo later in the 1st round as well.

That would be a true Timberwolves act!

Also I still want Shermadini in the 2nd round.

What's up with the hit on Bismack?

If i were the Wolves GM, i'd trade all my young talent plus future draft picks, for 2 superstars. Love would obviously be the only untouchable.

Something like this:

Minny In: Dwight Howard, Monta Ellis
Minny Out: Tolliver, Webster, Beasley, TWolves 2011 1st rounder

Orlando In: Webster, Beasley, Tolliver, TWolves 2011 1st round pick - Kanter
Orlando Out: Dwight Howard

GSW In: Wesley Johnson, Hayward, Pekovic, Flynn, TWolves 2012 1st round pick top 10 protected
GSW Out: Monta Ellis

TWolves starting lineup for 2011-12 season:
PG - Ridnour
SG - Monta Ellis
SF - Randolph
PF - Love
C - Howard

It's dumb, but it works. :)

Just meant it would be typical for the Timberwolves to draft 2 Pf's when they already have 3.

Just like last year they stocked up on Sf's and the year before pg's.

Edit: You forgot to save your trade!

you'd need to give the magic every second first round pick you had forever.

ChrisMannixSI Two execs with lottery picks say Irving is 'definitely' the top pick. Exception only if top team needs a scoring four, go for D-Williams.

I think Williams is a 3 in the NBA. He actually reminds me of Vince Carter. Definitely a top 2 pick though.

Yeap.

The most intriguing long-term NBA prospects on the international team are 1992-born front-court players: 6'9” Bismack Biyombo from the Congo (currently playing for Fuenlabrada in Spain), and 7'0” center Lucas Nogueira from Brazil. Both players have some limitations on the offensive end, but also possess some freakish physical tools that were on display during every practice session thus far.

"limiations on offense" and "freakish physical tools" are not the things that spring to mind when I think of a comparison to an 18 year old Al Jefferson!

DraftExpress World Select Team not wasting any time, going right into 5 on 5 scrimmage. Afraid Biyombo might hurt someone!

Do not want Morris twins. Both are tweener 3/4s, and I honestly have no idea how they'd react if separated from one another. They have the same tats!

Give me Terrence Jones with the first pick and Kenneth Faried with the second.

Holy crap! Bismack "BB" Biyombu has moved all the way up to #16 on Chad Ford's Best Player Board on ESPN. Well, the PF position is our last need since we have Diaw and TT already. But I swear, just seeing this guy come from nowhere into middle 1st round gives me Ajinca vibes all again. Just gives me a bad feeling.

For the lulz, we should take both Morris twins.

Round one
Pick 10- Jonas Valunciunas
Pick 19- Jordan Hamilton

Round two
Pick 10- LaceDarius Dunn

Bobcats Lineup next year
PG- DJA, Livo
SG- Hendo, Dunn, Carroll
SF- Jackson, Hamilton, Cunningham
PF- Diaw, TT, White, Cunningham
C- Valunciunas, Kwame, Diop

Then next year if we do not like what TT is doing at PF then we can draft somebody like Sullinger or CJ Leslie. Also, next year will be stacked class for Point Guards if we want to upgrade DJ then. Either way Hamilotn can step in after we get rid of Jackson and then we finally got a Center with some upside. Dunn is steal in the second round to me because of the scoring he can bring off the bench for us.
